The actual SPOTY results will come out soon, there is still some debate about a couple of the finalists, FIDIOT in particular about his change of handle and whether or not his points can be combined.

This years SPOTY award is much closer that we ever imagined  after it looked like at first a Dungbeetle runaway, and then FIDIOT held what looked like an insurmountable lead with only a couple months to go. Of course there were other contenders, Asscalade, Ridgetucky, were at the top of most voters lists, and then there was the late charge by Anonymousfun who was always lurking, but never appeared to be a real contender until the last couple of weeks of the year.

Among our female contenders, i guess maybe it is true that the women are smarter than the men as there were only two that made it onto more that a few ballots, one of course was you, Cosette, mainly for your ability to keep digging no matter how deep a hole you found yourself in, and the other  was our very own GILF TaylorSteele, who made it onto a few ballots, but in spite of her promising start, she began to lose votes by the bucket load by making posts that actually made sense, the kiss of death in the SPOTY competition, and to put it into horse racing terminology she finished OOP (out of the picture)

I am sorry if I neglected to mention any of your favorites, but the list was a long one, and there were many that should be here on merit, but were simply flashes in the pan and didn't have the staying power for serious contention.
