Is being blacklisted some sort of mystical threat that providers use to scare good mongers, or a network that all experienced providers subscribe to where handles, names and other info is submitted so that guys can't schedule dates anymore?  If so is there a reason for the blacklistings so others can decipher for themselves if the offense is worthy of said named client being blacklisted? Or just a generic blacklisting that has no reasoning?  I understand if a dude is dangerous, has harmed escorts or threatened them.  But it seems that some ladies nowadays go to blacklisting if a guy is stuck in traffic or has a family issue come up and can't make the date, or even if the provider herself wants to make up some bs.  I see more threats on ads/personal websites of blacklisting than I do mention of where I can find reviews of the service.  I've been around a hot minute, just have never seen so many mentions vale threats of "If you do this or that, I'm going to blacklist you", sheesh, almost like walking on eggshells.  

I have been on a few since 2012 One blacklisted me because she didn't like something I posted on the boards..LOL. Never saw her in person, and quite honestly, wouldn't have even wanted to see even if she were free.  

 
Providers don't realize that by putting someone on BL just because you didn't like them, or the review they posted, makes mockery out of the whole system, and lets the truly dangerous people get away with egregious things.

Nikki Irish was an established provider with plenty of reviews.  A year or two ago she outed a guy because he cancelled an appointment with less than 24 hours notice and refused to pay a cancellation fee...$100 or so.  The guy says he gave 24 hour notice, she said it was only 23 hours 58 minutes.  Anyway, she posted his name and employer on Twitter.  A quick google brought up his Linked-In with photo.

I remember this because another guy on twitter gave notification and I read the original post before it got deleted.  The guy was local to me.

that talked about this question as well. Some of the providers commenting in those have said:
1) they will look at such sites/databases but not just see a name and reject during screening.
2) Some providers are like some reviewers and will publish some rather unjustified criticisms to get even with the person.
3) there is no real universal blacklist all providers work from (just like reviews)
4) often enough betting blacklisted is provider specific meaning you get blocked/ignored by that one provider but that's as far as it goes.

 
A lot will depend on just what problem was reported.

 
It's generally not something I worry about for two reasons. First, I'm a very easygoing customer and don't think that just because I'm paying I can get anything I want. Second, if someone (or in my case generally an agency) is blacklisting people for rather trivial reasons that is good enough reason for me to look for other more reasonable people to associate with for this business.

I don't think that blacklistings are worth worrying about.  If you have seen a lot of ladies and/or have reviewed a lot of ladies, you most likely have been blacklisted somewhere and don't even know it.  A lady could blacklist you for anything or nothing at all and they could make up something or exaggerate.  Some are retaliatory and complete BS just like reviews.  Often a lady will project how a guy made her feel with his review when she blacklists him.  If he wrote that she was unattractive, then she will write that he was gross or whatever.  Ideally, if you write honest reviews then you should not provide any handles during screening.  Keep the two processes separate.  Blacklists become kinda pointless though because a guy who is blacklisted may not know that he is blacklisted, but he will eventually most likely put two and two together and get a new number or email or both if he gets turned down a few times.  Fortunately, many booking assistants are at least somewhat savvy and able to consider the whole picture if there are blacklists.  It is a small world and many booking assistants will reach out to ladies whose judgement they trust.  Hell, there have even been ladies that have blacklisted their best clients anonymously so that they can keep them to themselves.

what in the heck can i do-- report it!!--  
well, several of years ago-- i  a met a gal-- ok several,  i did not check for such reviews -   once i arrived and met one of them- its was like a quick rush -- then she pulled a knife and ask me to leave- --yes , fear for myself...    ohh well i said to myself, live and learn.   then next time with a different gal, she  pulled out a can of mace-   fucken the old trick- then did learned, the next experience- a guy,  a her guy friend followed me -- fuck that i bailed--  
then i received threats that i was going to be blacklisted--   shit, my safety come first--  

 for my area, its difficult to find reliable people-     yes, i understand what gals go though-- and i pray for them  but dammm, when   shit like this happens to a nice guy like me -- its my fault!! i should done my research.    every time i see a new friend, after we meet - they tell me , hey, by the way, theres several of comments made about you--    wow, cant believe  what lies, you are a very nice guy-- and there i go telling my fuckup stories--  

 
anyways, TER is a blessing  ---- do your research, and always be respectful of our friends -- theres bad apples that spoil the whole tree..  

I don’t remember the name of the app (Call Busters or something) but people were able to leave comments associated with a phone number. The Maryland provider was fairly highly regarded here (but I didn’t think to see who left good reviews with their single review history vs all the reviewers with established histories who scored her a bit lower), but she wasn’t my jam. Much older and heavier than I had been led to believe, an absolute slob of a human as could be seen by the state of her apartment especially the bathroom, she smoked like a chimney in said apartment and, along with having dentures, had a lot of body and health issues. I cut the visit short, paid the full fee, was more polite than I should’ve been, but she still took issue with that. I have to assume it was out of paranoia thinking that I noticed some of those issues.

So she tried to blacklist me via this phone app. Thankfully, another Maryland provider helped me look into it when I found out months later, and she was able to determine who it was. The helpful provider was one of several the blacklister had been bad-mouthing and she had caught wind of that from other hobbyists too as the blacklister is quite the talker. The blacklister openly spoke poorly about many clients too along with some names which was one of many red flags. I know she changed her number shortly after some other providers started hitting back.

Seems that some of the less mentally stable providers, as they get older, turn to blaming everything and everyone on their lack of success and will do anything to protect what image they think hobbyists have of them. Maybe it’s their ego that prevents them from admitting the truth to themselves, I don’t know. But I do know that this blacklister was obviously extremely lazy and needed to handle some of those health issues (humongous hemorrhoids, horrible dental hygiene, fungal toes, obesity, etc.) rather than talk about saving money for some more body work and more tattoos.

Long short: In the end, the blacklisting didn’t affect me at all, but it did shed a brighter light on her for other providers (maybe also hobbyists) in her area to notice.

The best advice that I received was to stay away from the low end providers.  Many of the higher end providers will tell you that they have never blacklisted a client.  Some ladies will associate their name with blacklists thinking that it somehow provides more legitimacy.  In fact, it does just the opposite: if a lady truly believed that a guy was a super creepy stalker, for example, then for safety reasons the last thing that she would do is exacerbate this by having such a claim associated with her name.  Those ladies also don't realize that blacklisting clients can be very bad for their business especially if the client is popular and well respected.  Most clients have ATFs who will disclose this sort of information if desired.  Then that guy will tell other guys to stay away, yada, yada.  Also,  most guys ask ladies for referrals and if she blacklisted a good guy then that lady is unlikely to get many of those.

First of all, Providers blacklist because the so called "Mongers"/"Hobbyists"/"Clients" act as if crazy. The Hobbyists (Or whatever you want to call them) try to say things like "You are lucky to have guys like me take your service."  And they try to be cheap as hell. The one thing that the hobbyist does not realize is that the Provider get into more trouble then the hobbyists.  

I heard from a provider,I reached out to, that I Been blacklist, which is truly a joke, because I always treat people the way I want to be treated, so for someone to blacklist me is laughable, i keep a positive attitude and say to myself, it’s cool I just move to the next provider because it’s to many providers to choose from, and if all else fails I just go see my ATF, which make me feel really special!

I’d disagree , some high end providers can be primadonnas and if you approach them wrong they’ll go off on you .

Low end could care less .  

Also black lists are usually anonymous so why would there be recourse?

Sometimes a Client does make up excuses as to why he changes his mind when a "DATE" is set.  
And that's 1 of may reasons why some of the Providers/Escorts are so harsh.

I don’t make up excuses, plus most providers have a cancellation fee, which I will pay,if I did cancel, (that’s where treat people the way you want to be treated comes in at) which is better then when a provider cancel with a lame excuse or not (I don’t assume a provider is lying to me when she cancel)the client don’t get anything!
