I've used agencies, many times, with some delays and inconveniences but no such close calls with other guys.  

Do they think that appointments can only begin on the :00 hour?  Do they think we want to greet the previous or following gent as we pass thru the portals? When I call and ask for 6 or 7 or 8, just tell me 6:40 or 7:15 or 8:10.  Not always, but I've arrived to be greeted by a hostess clearly not ready and sometimes clearly stressed. Ten minutes, 15 minutes ... just tell me to wait a bit. I'd rather wait for something good than rush into something bad.

The Freakonomics guys should do a study of agency overbooking in an attempt to maximize their fee dollars by not allowing any down time. Such overbooking could actually drive good, reliable, repeat clientele away.  

Book an hour? Allow at least 1:15 if not 1:30 until the next appointment.  Agency girls: Tell the bookers you need some time between bookings!

Now then ... I think my worst, if funny, case was an agency arranged meeting. She has retired and removed her Profile or you could read my review which got quite a few laughs via PMs.  I arrived at the hotel incall and she was in the midst of an acne flareup which ruined a lot of stuff. But for the topic of this thread, the key thing was a bathroom full of wet towels and not one single dry item: no bath towel, no hand towel, not even a dry washcloth!
