Some clients are know to sabotage condoms with the intention of rigging them to fail during intercourse.

I have to inspect the package before the action starts, not in dim lighting while being put on the spot.

It doesn't cross any lines - it is your session.

However, its best to run it by the provider before playtime starts.

.....which don't fit me at all. A perfect fit are  the magnum XL's. Usually with the smaller condoms after coitus they sometimes have a way of almost working their way almost off. Scary.

I always bring my own condoms. One time a provider suggested that I use one of hers. She had that cheap Durex brand and the condom broke before I came.

Hey, providers, how do you feel about a feller bringing his own? Can't see where it would be an issue, but just want to be sure.

Here is the brief back story - my sensitivity varies greatly, to the extent that sometime I never even finish. Have done my homework with the LG, and played around with different things, but some of it seems to come down to the thickness of the condom, and how well it transmits, or does not, sensations. So I have done a little research and I would like to bring my own just in case the provider's selection is more like wearing a raincoat than a silky film.

Happy to explain and ask permission of each provider, but I am curious if this crosses any lines. My only goal is to have as much fun as we can stand.

You need to find a lady who uses Female Condoms.  They are awesome.  They feel very natural too.  It is great for guys who lose their erection when they use a male condom.  The female condom has received great reviews from 97% of the gents I know.

I exclusively use female condoms (fc2).....for the most part I order them online

store bought they are 5.00+ per condom

online they are $3.00 per condom, I order them in bulk usually 100 at a time so I have a discount....plus I also use a VERY expensive silicon lube.....it is 16.00-25.00 bucks for a 2oz bottle. I do not want a client to assume that expense and how would he explain the delivery to his wife?

That's a first! I've heard ladies so no-no to anal and some won't try to deep throat, but why the fear of larger men?

Never tried a female condom, have read a little about them, but am unclear about exactly how they work. Would love to have the opportunity to try one.

I am not sure whether the issue is with the thickness and a resulting lack of sensitivity, or perhaps that the condoms are too tight or maybe some reaction to the specific lubricant on the condom? Not saying I am large, because I think I am pretty average, but at a certain point it just feels like something is cutting off most of the sensation. Anyway, if I find a condom that feels really good and works for me, I would like to be able to stick with that rather than take a chance that one I do not like will reduce my fun.

I do not think the issue is with a lack of heat transmission, but I cannot say I paid a lot of attention to that. I will consider that.

I did use one condom recently that seemed to have a lubricant intended to promote some added sensation - probably a stimulant of some sort. First it felt like I had Bengay on me, if much more mild, and then sensation faded as we went on. It was opaque and white, and not at all good for me. That was the experience that lead me to conclude that I needed to take a little more control over the cap since it can be pretty important to the whole experience.

Understand perfectly the risk presented by using a condom I provide (none actually, but how can someone else know that?), and would not be at all offended by an inspection. Not sure whether engaging in a detailed condom discussion and negotiation is more of a turnoff than using a condom I do not like. Maybe this is just something I will pursue on repeat visits, but I guess the bottom line is that I am going to start paying more attention to condoms, and will have my own just in case I want to discuss that option with a companion.

If there is a brand, type and size you prefer, let he know and she can pick them up.  

The issue: people making small tears in the latex and passing on an STI they are aware they have.

while your sensitivity issues with condoms are understandable, you should be aware that a knowledgeable provider would take these things into consideration and is likely to have exactly what you need. i am very selective with the types of condoms i use for many reasons...quality and sensitivity being of the utmost importance, but one other factor many gents seem not to consider: allergic reactions. my girlie bits are quite sensitive, and i cannot be poked and prodded with just any old condom. any condom containing spermicide will cause SEVERE irritation, i am very allergic to such chemicals so those are a big no-no. moreover condoms containing water-based lubricant also give me problems. i would also never subject myself to sex with a condom made of animal by-products (i.e. lambskin).

so you see why a woman would only comfortable with condoms she has carefully selected and purchased for herself. i would not be offended by a gent bringing his own condoms, but he would have to not be offended at my polite refusal to use them.

I won't allow that either. I have no way of knowing how old they are or if they have been tampered with. I pissed off a client a few months ago who bought in a three pack..out of the packet and asked to use one. I politely said no and he got a little annoyed...needless to say the session went downhill form there as I felt uncomfortable and he was miffed...oh well such is life.

No disrespect but I am so glad we have never met. If it's as you say it is...you're too big for me and we would have to part ways...or change services and fees.

I usually have several sizes and choices including the FC2 (female condom) which I also like, especially for guys who don't do well with a traditional condom.   A little communication beforehand can avoid any problems and I'm pretty sure most ladies will take a special request on a type of condom, unless they have personal reasons against that.  Especially if you require a Magnum XL it's a good idea to let the lady know, in case that means your tool is too big for that particular garden...

If a guy lets me know what he prefers, then I'll go and get them. That way I know how fresh they are and where they came from. If he doesn't say a word, I simply use my preference, which aren't latex, lambskin or pre-lubricated.

bring the particular condom that you like as long as it isnt a Durex. lol I absolutely despise Durex. I think its because they gave it out at the clinic by the bulk. The condoms should be in the box so she can be the one to open it.

Okay, I get your explanation of being a serial repeater. I have done that only with 4 women in over 10 years of hobbying. I have had 5 flakes in that time and only one say I don't have any more condoms or none that would fit BS. In that case, I got a reduced rate, because all she was doing was a BJ and her technique was such that I wanted out of there. As you are not likely to increase your options in any significant numbers in the hobby universe, I would agree with your tactics.

I have discovered over the past few years that this can be a real issue for gents. Either too snug, too loose, or just deadens the sensations of something that is supposed to induce euphoric feelings. I also keep the fc2 on hand as well as a few other types of covers. My latest faves are the crown brand and the kimono microthins as well as another japanese brand touted for it's thinness and *natural* feeling. I think high quality lubricant definitely helps also. Look online and see what has gotten the best reviews and why. A lady who is really into pleasure and making sure that she is doing what she can to safely ensure a good experience will be happy to help you.

No offense, but the selection I am presented with, by the ladies, leaves a lot to be desired.  I like to use the more premium European brands.  

So I don't see why you could not bring your own condoms too.

If I bring a condom with me -- it has a "sell by' date on it -- so you KNOW how old it is. Right? And if I bring it in a sealed box, you can be pretty danged certain there is no tampering. Right?

But even if I brought just a single condom with the date stamped on it (which is done by a machine and would be difficult to imitate) -- why on earth would I tamper with it? So I can get a provider pregnant and create a huge mess in my life? So I can expose myself to an inordinate risk of STDs?

Now, I'm a really logical guy. Sometimes, that's a good thing -- but sometimes it means I have a hard time relating to certain illogical realities where people act in a fashion contrary to their best interests.

Please explain to me why you think hobbyists would have a motive for tampering with condoms that is sufficiently pervasive that you wouldn't even accept a self-brought time-stamped condom?

And -- further -- why I should trust a provider in that regard any more than she would trust me? It seems we both have a lot to lose, and that any irrational motives on the part of hobbyist could also apply to providers.

For me this is a relatively academic question -- almost rhetorical -- but I'm curious. In my case I book professionals who darned sure wouldn't be caught short on condoms, and I book women with sound professional ethics so I don't worry about them going nuts and tampering with condoms for some inexplicable reason. SO it's really just an academic question -- but I AM curious!

I had posted a question below for literbike about this because it made no sense to me, but now I get it. There have been quite a few cases of guys who were infected with HIV *deliberately* infecting large numbers of women -- usually relatively innocent and gullible teens.

But it makes sense (in a twisted way) that some of these sick and twisted people would find their way into hobbying.

But ... I have to think this sort of "I'm a goner so I'm going to take a bunch of innocent people with me" logic is not limited to males. What would keep a professional sex worker who contracted such an illness from doing the same thing for the same motive?

Certainly I've never had a provider use the "I'm all out of condoms" excuse. They are solid professionals and know better than to play those sorts of games.

So far (knocking on wood) all my sessions, except for one with a lady who was well-intended but needed some education, have truly been with fair, ethical and professional women. No kidding!

Ever since a Fav lady asked me when I called to tell her I was on the road...  to stop & pick some up.  The detour through an unfamiar locate made me late & could have spoiled everything if time was tight.  I now bring a sealed 3 pack.  I place it one the bed table & go tp the bathroom to wash my hands prior to play...  giving her plenty of time to inspect the box.
One lady told me "I have them".  I merely stated my preferance for this extra cost item.  
I do recognize the right of any provider to refuse to use C I've supplied...  I will use hers without arguement...  (Though I've never had to.)   If hers are not the equal to my preferance, then it will be a one time thing.

At the end of the day, you're right, it could theoretically happen.  And there have been incidences of women who contracted illness from a client, intentionally passing it onto other clients- from what I understand any known incidents are super rare.

However, lets go to a practical place.  A healthy provider who wants to sustain a long career, will see more men than a hobbyist will see women.  The average lady sees three guys or more a week, the average guy doesn't maintain that kind of consistency. So when you look at it from a numbers game, it's natural that women are going to be uptight about control over that situation.

The best protection of men is seeing women who are low volume and not being an overly active hobbyist. There's no reason to be trying to see as many providers as possible, it increases your risk exponentially and makes men jaded as such experiences are totally vacuous.  Frankly when a guy has 30 + reviews, in the span of a year or two, that's a huge turn off for the reason you mentioned - with that many, it's possible one of the women he's seen is a nutcase.

You are 100% correct. I have had 10 sex partners in 4.5 years; and the only reason it has been that many is because of ladies moving, retiring and stuff like that. I can't stand the empty feeling of the 4-Fs approach, so I avoid it. I guess it works well for most of the industry, but its a bad match for me.

The one variable I would add is that just as all people must be judged as individuals rather than as a group; providers must also be judged as individuals -- and certain attributes (most notably character) make a major difference, albeit indirectly, in one's odds of adverse consequences.
