OK, savage me at will if necessary. I'm new to this board and I do realize this is a review site, but I have a question for the more experienced amongst us. While the reviews are very 'helpful', does anyone else go 'soft serve' after reading a guy's narrative about an 'experience'?? After reading a couple, I almost, stress, almost, lose interest. Perhaps this is why the gals finally ask guys to stop writing them? Could be bad for biz?? Wouldn't numeric scores for each category, kind of like the Olympics, be a lot better?? I just have to respond. Most quality providers dont have cum in their mouth or running down onto their boobs. I only have five things I look for in a provider and only one of is a service, BJ of any type. Now with allowing foe both CBJ and BBBJ I can say more providers automatically give me a BBBJ. I've been with quite a few providers in the greater NY area over the past several months.  Every last one of the either LFKs or DFKs, permits DATY/DATO and all but one offer BBBJ (the one who doesn't is so spectacular in every other way that I -- and many others -- overlook  it).  Most also offer CIM or take cum somewhere on their body.  I'm not suggesting you should change what you do, simply that in my experience it's rare.  Most mongers I know would not see a provider with such a limited menu, but best of luck to you.  You've been doing it long enough so you must be doing something right.

BFE, you need to upgrade your providers. Your standards must be low and you must be looking for bargain basement or you are in the basement. There are hundreds of providers with low volume with self respect.

That's just a fact of life.  Which is why it's necessary to sift through them with care.  If it's obvious a review is nothing but a string of acronyms, stop reading it.  If it's in pidgeon English, stop reading it.  Develop a list of names of good reviewers (there are plenty of them) and read only those.  Using guidelines like this, I've been able to enjoy reading lots of reviews and, more to the point, use them to find some really good providers.  I have not had a bad experience yet as a result of uninformative reviews.

First, numbers on TER are meaningless. They give no explanation on what happened for such a score to be justified. Was chemistry off or was she having what seemed like an off day?  Photos currant and accurate? That could change since the profile was written by her first reviewer. And some things cannot be communicated with numbers.

Then there is second issue called number inflation where guys trying to win favor with an escort, brag, avoid looking like a fool for spending $1000 an hour or avoid unpleasant consequences artificially inflate the ladies scores. Plus some guys have such low standards that anything willing to suck there dick gets a 10.

The third issue with the numbers is it is all subjective. Like take looks for instance I do not like fake over-sized breasts but others love them. I would penalize a lady for them yet the next guy would give bonus points for the same thing. Some guys like certain acts more then other guys and rate them differently. Then there is this whole chemistry thing that can affect scores as well.

Forth, certain acts are required to get certain scores at TER. I do not participate in some of those acts so it limits the scores I can give a lady that I TOFTT as how would I know if anal, DFK, or more then one guy at a time is on the menu as I don't do any of the above with ladies I see professionally. For that matter unless I seen her in a dual how would I know if a lady is "really bi"?

This factor also weakens the numbers thing as well. If a lady gets a 9 or ten all it means she offers crap I don't care about. Some of the best ladies I have seen are not reviewed by me because I refuse to give a 7 to a lady that in my book has earned a 9 but TER will not let me give her that score.

So as you see from the above the numbers any numbers are of limited use. I don't look at them at all. I personally think they are a waste of bandwidth and discourage honest reviews. I know I have passed on writing reviews because of the numbers and the rules regarding them. I know girls have ask me not to write a review on TER because of TER's number system.

In my opinion an all number system would make things worse to the point of utter uselessness. But that is just my point of view.

In a perfect world, numerical scores would be preferable to these mini porn novels that some reviewers write, more for their own enjoyment rather than to be informative, but it's an imperfect system. It' just the best we've got.

along with all the research (profile, reviews, ads, web site, pictures)...  before adding a lady to my bucket list.   I don't dwell on the details of the review nor worry about the numbers.  I want to see consistancy & I want to see services I desire.   If I have not seen a lady, I recheck the research when updating my bucket list.   I really don't recall the reviews when I am alone with a woman...  it's just 2 naked people who hopefully are into each other.

I know you're new on the boards, and I'm sure my drunken braggard-ness(?) comes across as crass and self-gratifying. But I think, after awhile, you'll see I have a self-deprecating sense of humor and have no problem pointing fun at myself. I actually encourage people to 'put me in my place'.

Kind of a masochist that way.  ;)

Other people have given you their tips.  I just want to add that I use yet another different method, because I know what I'm looking for.  So whereas other people might focus on menu and pics, and mostly ignore the reviews, I place a lot of importance on the reviews because I look for a specific kind of personality and energy level.  There isn't any filterable, numerical category for that, so I get down "into the weeds" in the reviews, looking for certain clues, etc, from between all the acronyms.  And to do that well, I have to find the same clues recurring across multiple reviews.  It's a matter of intuition and "feel" across multiple reviews.

Conversely, menu items, measurements, scores, and many other filterable characteristics are less important to me.  So I simply don't use those tools.

Decide what's important to you, and then use the TER tool that works for you.
