I review if it is a new person or if I have something different to add or she has not been recently reviewed.

Having been a member here since the early 1800's I have plenty of days on my account and if I need them I think I can cough up the money for a membership.

This brings me to my inquiry... If you have a session and it compares pretty much like a lady's previous reviews do you take the time to write her another one?  As many reviewers know writing reviews is cumbersome and not at all intuitive  (wouldn't it be great if the fields of a previous review automatically populated the new review? yes if there are differences you could still go BACK and edit and I am only talking the stats parts).

Anyway, I have gotten lazy and bored with the process of review writing... I would write a review if the women in question was a rip off, but that has not happened to me a long time... I don't want to write a review if I had a lousy time and I know the woman did her best to make me happy... and I don't want to write a '10' review if I am pretty sure I received services due to my seeing her many times...

How many reviews are enough, or do too many reviews seems a bit raunchy?  (I for one am reluctant to see a lady with a ton of reviews and even more reluctant to see a girl reviewed by someone with 100's of reviews since they may be QPQ reviews)

So what do you other mongers do?

that dates back to the 1800's.
I wonder if I could get a rise out of it!!??
I say if you don't want to write reviews..don't.
I also say the amount of reviews you have is meaningless. Because I see a client or two a week. I have a few pages of reviews...:)  many
Some providers see 4-8 clients a day....they might only have a few dozen reviews.
They open their legs up more than I do.
Who is raunchier?
I'm not interested in being a tally for someone's tallywhacker!  :)
I'm interested in sharing my sensuality, my big clit and my tight pussy, and that's what I want guys to come and see me for..not to mention my wonderful personality.

I have often seen a gal who did her best in terms of being charming and willing to perform, but because of chemistry or maybe something wrong with me, things didn't click they way you wanted.

Nevertheless, a review which describes what went on and how she looked, etc. is very helpful to her and to the community - so I suggest that you write the review also.

If there was some little quirk of hers that upset you (Talking too much, for example.), then mention it.  She may wise up and be less chatty and others will know what to expect.

This is a subject I myself have been wondering about.  Right now I only have 2 reviews on TER.  As I read the GD I have seen people being blasted for either not having a ton of reviews or having not written a ton of reviews.  I myself don't want a review from every person I have met.  I do however rely on the reviews I do have so that future friends may get a sense of who I am and what I have to offer.   I agree that it is not gentlemanly to ask providers certain specific's and that is where the reviews are invaluable but for myself, I have been in this game long enough and established myself in other parts so with me I don't think your ever going to see a high number attached to my reviews.  A little bit of shameless self promoting here but over my time in the hobby I have collected a telling number of reviews that I can provide access to.

I have been thinking about asking the same question for a while. I have been a hobbyist for 10+ years and a VIP ter member for 4 years. I see an average of 1-2 providers a month and I choose them based on ter rating (8 and 9's) and reviews. I tend to see well reviewed providers and haven't really felt that I have something extra to add to the previous reviewers. Most of the girls that I have seen have said that they don't care if I wrote a review on them as they already have a lot of reviews. But I do wonder that by not writing reviews I am not contributing to the ter community.

I certainly prefer seeing well reviewed providers, I don't like surprises and in my experience the more the reviews the better idea I have of how the date will go.

from a relative newbie, i'd note that we sift through a lot in the reviews to get to a "truth".  one thing that I rely on, is trying to find mongers who are proven to NOT be shills, or who have similar tastes.  it's easier than one would think to find a string of 10s that are almost all shills, or to be fair, just different taste than mine.

long story short, anybody adding additional credibility, or creating a counterpoint, helps.

absolutely write reviews, its a way of giving back to the hobby "community", especially if the provider is just starting out or has very few reviews , IF she shows you a good time a great review will help her get lotsa of appts. If the provider has ten pages of reviews , another one probably wont matter

plus why cant the guys have a reputation too? ie as either writing shill reviews or writing honest ones of what really happened during the session

Write it. Even if the service was the same at least it lets others know that nothing has changed. Especially if it's been a while since the last.

If you're like me and many others that get denied, then I say screw it. I personally don't even attempt anymore because it's crazy that they get denied. There is litterally no defined basis that works, or has worked for me to get reviews posted.

I'm done ranting now.

good point!

In a review I wrote three years ago I used the common expression .. " she was a lady in public and a whore in the bedroom"  The review was rejected cause I guess you cant call a provider a whore, but it was just an expression not to be taken so litterally. I removed the line the review was approved, at the time I thought it was rather silly to deny the review

Sometimes I feel like just cutting and pasting ... obviously not allowed... and when reviews are turned down for NOT enough explicit wording.. I get very frustrated...

as a result of the reviews being turned down you get a lot of well written penthouse stories with little or nothing that will actually happen when you meet her.

I pride myself in always being able to come up with excuses not to do things. Reviewer's angst is one I never thought of!

Yeah, TER's profile routine is retarded, but if you open it in a second window it takes about 3 minutes to copy over. Easy, compared to writing the actual descriptions, which always takes me twice as long as I expect. If the chick was so boring that I honestly can't think of anything new to say about her, then I don't bother.

From a providers point of view, its helpful for us to receive reviews where you gentlemen know a little bit about us. It also brings us to your attention when you read reviews. Otherwise you would know nothing about us probably.

For many reasons starting with the ladies. It's one of the best form of advertising for them, nothing says more for the lady than an accurate review of them. There are ladies that I would love to review but choose not to for 2 reasons. The first and most inportant is that I've had accurate truthful reviews rejected which leads to my second reason. I think this creates an enviroment that could lead to more fiction than fact and I don't think that helps anyone.

For us guys, it's vital from the credibility aspect......especially for the newer guys. Thats a problem on all the sites not just here.

But when the reviews get rejected that are honest and accurate because they say they need to be  more graphic or need more information......I have a problem. Might not be a big issue if we knew exactly what they wanted but hey, I don't think they know and that really is a shame.

also, novices-newbies should not be allowed to review and ruin a girls business because they dont know how anything works! I had a guy give me a horrible reveiw, it was his first time!
he asked me for everything I do not do.
that no providers do, he did not understand the business and ruined mine because he didnt get what he asked for?
things i never offered?
ridiculous things? like my name, greek, cim, uncovered sex , uncovered anal ! WTF!!!!
how is he allowed to do that?!
he read my reviews , i dont offer that crazy stuff
i asked him why he did that to me he said he was mad he spent all that money.
he said he though it would be like living in a porno and thats what he wanted, but IM NOT A PORNSTAR!
so what is that huh? not fair at all to the providers.
also if a man gets mixed up and reviews someone else under MY NAME im screwed! TER wont change it even when they know im not that girl....so...think before you review or at least be sure of the girl you just saw!

Write the text part of the review in another document. Try to do it as soon as possible. It should not take more than 20 minutes to 1 hour. You can save in google docs. When you get ready to write the review it is just a matter of cut in paste. If a review is already written create another window with the review profile so you can the things like hair type, height, breast size etc. Submit and bingo you review is written in less than 5 minutes.

IT is important to write the reviews so the system can calculate a better average for performance and looks.  It helps a potential customer see the trend and characteristics of the reviews to make an informed buying decision.

I do not write reviews in order to get my VIP status...I cough up the money and pay for it.
Because of that I typically only write a review if I made a unique connection with a lady or it was a particularly special session or if the lady asks me to write on for her. I tend to write rather lenghty reviews (I can't wrtie a "I came...I saw...I...came" 3 line review) so they take a while to produce.

For example in 2010 I saw over 20 different Providers but I only wrote 6 reviews......I tend to be picky about the reviews I produce.

Writing the reviews helps the community. It let's the guys know what to expect and it helps the ladies so they don't have to deal with questions. ( or as many questions. There are going to be those that don't read or won't accept what they read, but that's another issue.) If the lady has many reviews yours will likely show consistency or not. If she doesn't it will help her business and let the guys know she is legit and worth a visit. If it was a bad session or something else bad happened then you need to let the community know. If it was you not her you should say that too. If you write it be sure to get it right.

Responding to others that have said they don't get approved or to get it approved the graphic nature becomes a Penthouse forum that never happened:
Everyone of my reviews is completely accurate. It happened just that way. Sometimes I'm a bit more graphic than others but I try to not get too far out there with how I tell it. I have never had a review rejected.
Your welcome to check them out. If the graphic language bothers you there are reviewers here who write without any graphic language but they are approved and posted because they clearly tell what happened in an erotic manner and how the gentlemen felt about the encounter. PM me if you want some to check out. I won't name the reviewer here as I don't have his permission to go public.
I have found TER to be responsive when I have questions and to date have never had anything that wasn't explained. Sometimes we go back and forth a bit, but things get resolved. If your review is rejected there will be an explanation or you can contact them and ask. I have never been ignored.

I think that is a lazy and selfish attitude.

I get a little annoyed by guys who use TER reviews to make a decision on whether to meet a lady, yet don't/won't contribute their own.

You say you've written a few, and thats better than nothing, but I get pretty pissed when I give a guy the session of his dreams and when I ask for a review...  He says, "Duhhh....  Im too busy."  Or "Durrr... Our connection was so special, I want to keep you to myself."

Fuckers!!!!

Most of us have enough sense to not judge a lady by one bad review.

On the flip side of that i have also experienced that sometimes guys can get complacent and write a bunch of yesman reviews but then one review will stand out because someone had the guts to say the emperor is not wearing clothing.

the guys who claim to have a fabulous time and will post a review but never do but find a way to review a lady who he saw after. Some of these guys will contact again after the first time for another appointment and again will not review.I agree it helps a lot of ladies out if we provide a spectacular time why not help out a lady with a review it really doesn't take that much time. Also,I have a few guys say they would review me but due to their ATF's getting their panties in a bunch over him posting a review for other ladies he could not do he didn't want the drama.
One more thing I have heard is some guys want to see certain type of ladies but do not want to review them because they really do not want people to know he saw a certain type of lady.

If you are gaining info from a ladies reviews pay the community back by posting a review.

New reviews are helpful, even for well-reviewed providers.
They not only serve as a resource for other hobbyists, they help to remind well-seasoned hobbyists that we are still providing exceptional service, and to be noticed by the newbies on the site that may not have known....

so, review away!!

won't see guys with too many reviews, or not the "right" kind of reviews.

So, should guys attempt to keep their review history "clean" (read: acceptable to future ladies)?

I personally hate writing reviews, and have more or less stopped doing so.  Hell, I never thought I'd have as many as I do NOW.

And now, I'll prepare to be flamed for not "giving back".

YOU don't forfeit your right to privacy, but unless you decide to go completely UTR, your business is automatically subject to scrutiny -- as it should be.  If it weren't for the review system, guys would have no way of finding out about girls who are complete rip-offs, robbers, etc.

If you Google just about any business name, in any city, any where, there is at least an 80% chance that you will find several publically available reviews of that business.

As someone who utilizes the services of several businesses, I really appreciate the reviews, especially when seeking out a new service provider.  I find reviews especially helpful when researching a new physician.  (Or restaurant, but it seems kind of silly putting that in the same sentence.)

I would suppose that it is frustrating for a restaurant that specializes in French cuisine and states so on their website and in their menu when a customer who's never had French cuisine in his life, and did no research to know what to expect, didn't even look at the menu provided online, writes a scathing review about the food.  Yes, it may indeed be 'unfair' -- but any business owner should know that as long as they are consistently bringing their A game to the table, and delivering as promised, the sparkling reviews will balance out the scathing reviews.

I got a handful of lukewarm reviews as a newbie provider.  I haven't had a bad or even lukewarm review in fully TWO YEARS.  Two years!  Nonetheless, my average scores are still impacted by those two year old lukewarm reviews.  I understand where you're coming from, I really do.  However, your customers have the right to share their experiences, unless, as I said before, you decide to go fully UTR -- and that means no ads, no TER ID, nada.  Potential customers want to see reviews.  Don't worry -- they will not focus on that one bad review, as long as it is balanced out by good reviews.  If the good reviews don't balance out the bad reviews, then maybe it's time to reevaluate the way you play this game.

That's what I did.  Although it happened quite organically, I evolved and became a completely different person and a completely different provider.  It's worked out quite well for me, and I find that I am successful AND happy despite my lukewarm reviews of the past.  Most of the men who are involved in this hobby are mature enough to see the big picture.  You needn't worry.  :)
