For me it seems about 50-50.

Generally if a lady is a P411 member I make my initial contact with a PM there, regardless of what their website says. I politely introduce myself and ask if P411 is enough for screening and 95+ % of the time it is.

I believe that when you send a PM (not sure about an appointment request) the header shows how many okays the sender has. I have close to 50 okays and I think there are plenty of ladies who see the overall number and don't bother to check the details.

I have also had two or three ladies who read my PM, look at my profile, and never respond. I've heard that some ladies believe in such a thing as having too many okays - don't know if that's the case.

for both providers and their clients who use P411.

Providers: When you get an appointment request through P411, do you look at the requester’s profile—especially for someone you’ve never seen, or haven’t seen recently?  I ask because in my experience, few providers click on the link to my P411 profile to review it (I get notified when they do).  There’s lots of info in my profile about me, plus my OKs, which could be useful for screening.

P411 clients: What’s your experience with this?  How often do providers, or their assistants, check out your P411 profile when you send a request through P411?   I’m also interested if you ever use the option to send a link to your profile to providers who aren’t on P411, and how often those providers use the link.  For me, it’s almost never.

...when requesting an appt or sending a PM.

I'm guessing it's cuz I'm a girl and the providers are either curious or confused, lol. But most of the time it's resulted in a date.

Some will check your profile, specially as the date draws near.  Others don't check which frankly is a mystery.

Used the non-member invite once and it did work as expected.

It gives me a better idea on the compatibility factor.

Yes!  I have provider reviews, web sites, board posts (maybe), ads, Twitter etc to help me know about compatibility with providers. You and other providers don’t have all of that for prospective clients. Maybe board posts and reviews, if they exist and they’re available to you.

Sometimes 2 or 3 times before meeting for the first time.  I mostly look for clothing preferences, music preferences, lighting, etc.  I want to be able to set the mood for first time meetings.  It also helps me to see who has OK'd the gentleman in the past.

Angie, I’m glad to see that some providers see P411 as you do—not just a tool to aid in screening, but to help prepare for first-time meetings.

I have noticed the same thing. No idea of why. My only guess is the lack of law enforcement action for what we all do.
I view that as a positive. If you think about what you can find on twitter it makes p-411 look mild. Interested in others thoughts.

Most of the providers I contact via p411 do check my profile (according to the tracker.)  I also used the external link thing once when I was introducing a newbie escort to p411.  But she dropped out of the biz before she got into p411.  It still seems like a nice feature, just that I don't see many outside p411 (except sugar babes -- and it would be useful for them too but so far haven't needed it.)

about looking at the number of OKs and going ahead.  But as Steph and Angie pointed out, there’s good reasons, beyond screening, to read those P411 profiles.

Technically p411 requires escorts to respond to inquiries.
