There was a discussion in that thread about deducting the cost of condoms on a lady's tax return.

I cannot imagine more enjoyable deductions than the research that had to be "performed" for this book.  The cover claims the girls were "fully rated and described" so obviously the author (I am guessing he did not hire a "ghost writer") had to have paid for the services of each in order to rate them.

It's a safe bet that his tax return was passed around among many IRS agents.

With the internet, such print books are probably "ancient history".

I submit my receipts for condoms to my Flexible Spending Account (I work a RW job) and they are a reimbursable expense.

Therefore, they would be a legitimate write-off for medical expenses.

If you have an HSA it's a valid expense as well, and you don't have to turn in receipts.
