TER's admins have been piss-poor about their plans in light of the new laws.
Expect this trend to continue, and for them to cover their own asses above all else. I can't blame them there.
IF TER is destine to be shut down, I would hope that they would at minimum publish their databases as a torrent so the wealth of data accumulated is not lost and can perhaps be re-built at some point in the future. As it stands now, the biggest danger is losing the 1.5 Million reviews they're holding onto, along with the profile data that accompanies them.
For most people I think they click on discussion boards, then at the top left click on "TER General Boards," then the first board on that drop down menu is "General Discussion" (this board). The next one is "photo only."
There are other ways to get there but this should be the simplest and most common method.
Participation on the photo board has been in three figures the past few days, and there is now a new photo theme suggested by Admin on all the discussion boards to encourage further participation locally. From my standpoint, these have a greater impact than any ads that were posted on those now defunct boards. Keep them coming, ladies!
