I work in finance, too, and I think everyone oughta be downright fucking thankful that the taxpayers ended up doing this (being forced, no less). The banks were bailed out, not because the taxpayers wanted, but because many firms became too big to fail, and taxpayers were held hostage. That's nothing to be proud of, and certainly no way to be a goddamn cocksucker to others about. I work in finance in the capital markets and find your point of view and that of Benmosche at AIG completely fucking revolting. It's surprising to me someone hasn't just decided to take out a bunch of bankers in pure disgust (not condoning or suggesting it, by the way).

Do you know how many financial guys are out looking for jobs? No bonus necessary to hire those, there are plenty out there. It is hardly true Banks pay bonuses but Investment Bankers occasionally do to attract top talent, but not in this market though.
If you don't need the $, donate it to a charity or better yet, go to your local Target or Walmart where the 99% shop, with a stack of envelopes with $100 bills in them and start passing them out like a Jehovah's Witness giving out the Watch Tower.
