Philly vs Vegas

Hi Mya - I live outside of Phila, but have visited Vegas. You might try a visit to Vegas and see how you like it before making your move. Lots of people love Vegas, but that was probably my first and last trip there. I think there are a lot of hobbyists visiting Vegas looking to connect with providers, so it might be good for business. But as you say, there are lots of providers in Vegas, so there is a lot of competition for clients.

I'd say Las Vegas has more business because there are lots more tourists there. And I'm not sure what your basis is for saying it's "over saturated." I don't know if that's true or not. Perhaps the guy who runs the 100ProofLV agency will weigh in. He seems to know his business.
Also try asking on the local boards for these two cities.

How about Boston?  Check the local board and local ads. Also close proximity to Providence and occasional trips to NYC.

Sure there's more competition here from other providers, but there's also many more potential clients from out of town visitors, whereas many easy coast cities rely more on local clients. As Vegas begins to open up more as it is now, things will be on the upswing again. I honestly don't know much about Philly but some of my providers friends on the east coast tell me that NJ is busier than NYC right now. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I've been to Vegas a few times and I think I have a feel for what's going on there so let me start by saying that Vegas is...let's say unique in it's way. I know girls from Philly and the east coast who tour Vegas and they mostly have the feeling of, "it's a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to work there full time".
Building a regular base would be tough to do in Vegas as it's a transit city, people come and people go and the natives can be picky, shit even the tourist can get weird.
But really, hang out for a few weeks and get a lay of the land....
Good Luck in your decision

In Vegas you have the heat and when the wind blows you may get some dirt from the desert depending on where you live, but back east you have the cold and snow. It's something where ever you go except maybe San Diego. I don't know what you mean be "freestyle city." Every major city has a pretty big homeless population.

was one of the most active before TER went dark in April 2018 for 20 months, and you could usually tell how the current business was by the number of providers active on the boards.  They would also talk about conventions in town and where the best places were to meet tourists.  Since TER came back, that board has been a lot quieter.  Now that Covid is winding down, it may get a lot more active as business picks up.  Maybe you should take a look at the board posts from 2017 to see all the action going on in that town during normal times.  There is no reason to think the local scene will not return to that level once the majority of people have been vaccinated.  Just a suggestion.

Both options are pretty legit.

Las Vegas was a major hub for conferences, leisure travel, etc, before the pandemic. Being cautiously optimistic that businesses, organizations, and leisure travelers go back to Vegas en masse, you'd have a plethora of people coming out there. However, that's me being optimistic that LV will be as it once was: a bustling pleasure city. Real estate, from what I hear from friends in the area, is not too bad. I haven't toured LV so I can't provide insight in that regard.

On the other hand, you have Philly.  The nice thing about Philly is that compared to DC, NYC, and NJ it's relatively cheaper to be there. You're a quick 1H to 3H train ride to Boston, NYC, NJ, Delaware, DC, RVA, etc. So it opens up your touring abilities and cheapens them quite a bit since you don't have to fly everywhere. You still have quite a large market of potential clients because you're in a metro area that overlaps with many other metro areas due to people commuting still.  In addition, it's not uncommon for people in NYC, DC, NJ, etc to come into Philly for a provider. And while I haven't seen anyone from TER in Philly, Philly itself has always treated me *exceptionally* well in regards to this business and the men and women have been amazingly kind. Knock on wood the clients of Philly never change and just get better.

Take what you will from that information.

Well I don't know much about Philly other than to say Amtrak is a fabulous way to travel up and down the upper east coast.

Pre-Covid: I have been to Vegas probably 80 times over the past 25 years. Obviously one of my favorite places to visit. I love good food, good booze, gambling, and of course beautiful providers. And although pussy is a little over priced in Vegas compared to other parts of the country, there is a lot of beautiful ladies there to choose from. Personally not worried about the price as I might win or loose that much gambling in an hour. Thousand and thousands of guy just like me visiting Vegas every day with a bunch of cash in their pocket,

I would guess, more really wealthy regular clients in Philly versus a different dick every day in Vegas.

Good luck on your decision.
Definitely recommend you visit Vegas, its very different, chaotic place. Not for everybody, especially if you have addictive personally.

Do you really want to set up base camp where you wouldn't also want to enjoy leisure activities? So ask yourself what's my style (post-pandemic) lots of outdoors plus unlimited nightlife of Vegas or more big City life of Phili; what's worse, east coast winters or desert heat?

From a business perspective, if you're concerned about competition/saturation in Vegas...Phoenix, San Diego, LA, San Francisco, and Denver are all short flights.

I have to say I'm shocked that you've never even visited Vegas. It's easy to get to. Go check it out while the weather is nice. With more people getting vaccinated, an attractive, clever gal might even find a way to have her vacation paid for.

That is a big move. Wherever you're planning to relocate to, rent an Airbnb for an extended time in a particular city before the permanent move.

I moved from CA to MD in early 2019 and I still haven't fully settled in today, and Covid surely didn't f'kin help the transition. Whatever your choice is, I wish you the best of luck.

Cheers!

and yes, there are quite a few of them.

The conventional wisdom here on TER is to stay away from them, but when have you ever known me to follow conventional wisdom? lol

There are a lot more risks for both the girl and the guy alike, but so far I have never been arrested, been robbed, or lost a kidney. I think my first casino girl was back in about 1978 at the ripe old age of 19. It was fun then and 43 years later it's still fun. lol

You'll rarely come across the 500/hr guy...You'll end up working for 300, maybe less..and then their's the chance of getting busted by the hotel security, then getting 86'd from their chain...so you'll be "persona non grata"..Not really worth it if you ask me.
And to be very honest with you, AA CG's are plentiful, that arena is saturated...so I'd still do the visit first, check it out and then decide.

100% correct. Terrible idea to become a " casino girl."

Vegas was a gold mine in the 00's because of low cost of living and high prices from convention business.

It is now grossly oversaturated. I know Bay Area girls who were very attractive but never made it in Vegas.

Oh my God, the summer weather there. Even  many of the Vegas girls go on vacation in the summer.

You should talk to Jaydalie (sp?). She would know more than anybody else here about Vegas.

Vegas rocks! I go out once a month. the brothels went to hell so the agencies and indys are busier. i think there is one main newsletter there that one guy owns... and its the only way, or place,  to put an ad on any site, but its worth it. you can find the paper in the red colored newstands. if you need me too i can find him for you. just pm me.

Is that it will likely become over-saturated with providers over the next year. Especially if conventions start up again and other cities/venues continue experiencing problems with continued outbreaks. Many ladies, like yourself are going to think about relocating to Vegas, and that leads to more competition, lower rates and a lot more notice. I expect that quite a few of the ladies who go there will end up trying the "freestyle" route which could lead the hotels to become much less lenient with new-to-the area providers.
Not that it would be a bad idea, just consider the very high probability that Vegas will become ultra competitive over the next year for anyone looking to enter the market. However, touring there for a week or so wouldn't be a bad idea, especially if you made friends with a few established local ladies.

Is there any case in recent history where over-crowding led to lower rates?  I suspect instead that the ladies who can't get enough customers either quit the biz or move someplace else.

Go to Airbnb and rent a house in Vegas or Henderson NV for a few weeks or a month. Live your life, go check out the spots, and see how you like it. Yes it is hot in the summer - but between AC and swimming pools no one cares.

I’ve lived in Baltimore for a long long time. Right now I would trade this shitty weather between Nov and March for the Vegas heat in the summer

I should have clarified that the "lower rates" would likely be amongst the new-to-the-area providers looking to establish themselves, not necessarily lower rates across the board. But yes, any market where competition for clients increases, we see various specials and discounts offered. A lady doesn't have to change her website to run a special.

I'll vote for Philadelphia .. as Paige points out, it's well connected, relatively quick and easy up and down the eastern seaboard ..  You'll probably also have a better quality of life, as there's urban amenities and a temperate climate.  You'll probably find it's better for business for building a long-term fan base.

You're in the middle of a nice metro area that runs from NYC to DC, all within a few hrs drive or less by train. LV just seems saturated, although the climate is a bit better and the tourists may return significantly in a year or two. Hobby area abound (KoP, PM, CC, Mt Laurel, Cherry Hill, WIlmingon, Airport, etc..) and no one bugs you except in KOP and PM.
