Heads up.  I recently searched for a couple of books relating to the hobby on Amazon.  Was I surprised when I went back to Amazon later when the "recently viewed" books popped up in the intro page.  It was the home computer, needless to say I frantically searched for a way to clear that history trail.

. . . click on a lot of cookbooks to push hobby books down the list. However eventually they would still get you when you get an email advertising related books. :-)

try a browser called "Slimbrowser" it has options to clear all that from your history. Under tools, it's called "Clean Trace". If you have IE, go to tools, Internet Options, Clear history.

This history is not in the browser.  You can clear your IE history and the next time your kid or SO logs on amazon, up pops a page featuring" Mens Guide to Getting More Pussy"  You have to clear the "recently viewed" off the amazon site.
