I have had another provider who had a band-aid on the base of her spine saying that it was a "bug bite" or a bruise.  I am pretty sure it wasn't that.  I paid some money for her time and bailed out.

Has anyone else had this experience??

Besides women in labor, many women and men get these for back pain.  Myself included.  Pretty common in a long life of fuckin'.

She could have Lukemia or something and you bailed because you got paranoid it might be something bad? Please don't take me wrong here because I really mean no disrespect but while you were with her did you treat her differently than you do most providers?

If so, I'm pretty sure she felt it, when what she probably needed was extra TLC because you reminded her of something unpleasant.

Again, no disrespect here, I'm just a noob to posting on TER but I had someone treat me different one time because I broke out in hives due to stress. I think he was so paranoid it was something serious that he wasn't able to do what he came to do. It made me upset that he looked at me like I was diseased or something.

We do have hearts you know, and our feelings do get hurt, no matter how hardened some of us may appear to you. Underneath all of that, we are fragile and in need of compassion.

...Just say it is one of those reasons?  It is my understanding that Herpes recurrences appear in that area, base of spine.  The band-aid would be trying to cover it up and saying it was a spider bite.
My question is, has anyone else run across this?  Twice for me seems odd.  I don't get out that much.

Even though these aren't the typical areas that breakouts occur, I'd proceed with caution!

(Besides, it's just plain gross! Like pimples on a woman's ass, YUCK!)

here's one more. I was getting a massage the other day and the provider asked me about the sore at the base of my spine. I tend not to wear undies and drive long hours and fly a lot, the seem in the Jeans is a killer!!

That's it!! (Maybe)

OK, ...a questionable band-aid made you run for the door but yet you'd do a session with a TS(with you as the bottom). Call me crazy but something seems a little off about that.
