... but I just contacted support, and they confirmed it is true. Told them that their site just lost all of its value, and that I won’t be renewing. And that they should be making this policy clear to people who are signing up or renewing. Since it would be misleading if they didn’t.
I got the standard “thanks for the feedback” reply. In other words f*** you.
P411 Admin staff only has so many hours in the day.
The problem is the ability of providers to verify they are in fact providers by giving adequate links to reviews. With sites like TER blocking access to US users it limits providers from being able to send links to P411 with their applications. Apparently many US providers do not know how to login (despite being US based) to copy links to their latest reviews. What makes this even worse is so many providers have had their websites unilaterally removed also. I think in time P411 will figure a way through this for new applications from US providers.
They are accepting p411 clients still but not providers but they said current providers can stay

Not actually a great site, more like an amateur effort. I tried to sign up with Switter on Saturday. Never received the email with the confirmation link. Yes, I checked my junk mail folder. So I went back to the login screen and clicked to request the confirmation link again. Still nothing. I tried again just now. Maybe they should hire a professional to handle the IT there.

I’m not sure how you’re missing the search bar, but simply click the magnifying glass symbol to search for posts regarding your area. For example, when you search for Baltimore, you will get posts that contain the word Baltimore. You can also follow providers of interest to you just like with Twitter. Yes, you can view the full collection of all the posts on Switter.at, but that is only one way to view Switter. You can also narrow things down with the search or choose to view only those who you are following.
Keep playing around with it. You’ll figure it out! Clients and providers are already connecting successfully on there.
Rather than become less valuable, it is now a far more valuable resource for checking a client's reputation.

But I don't think it is supposed to be mentioned. One of the hobby boards that covers the US has stated that it is operated from outside the US and it plans to continue on. It has made some changes -- for now it only allows reviews from providers who are members and it removed hundreds of reviews in the process.
