It does help tremendously because the verification site is extremely well know in the circles of the hobby. Also it is quick and is a good alternative to just giving the last two providers that you have seen.  Also usually the women on there are good about approving you if the date is okay. However it is good to have a number of encounters under your belt before you do apply for membership because it makes the process of your online application faster.

Yup I've been saying I need to sign up for a while. Finally did and past the inspection they do on us. Feels good! Now I need to find you men who are a member also to try it out lol

Someone has been attacking the p411 - DDOS attacks, spoofed emails, etc... With his anti-hobby attitude - and bragging about getting on a blacklist site - maybe this poster is the one behind it.

I am brand new to P411, having been referred by a recent provider. With the help of another favorite provider, got my plus two status in no time. So far so good.

I didn't have good luck with DC at all.  Signed up on P411 with no problem whatsoever and have had great luck with it.  It's all I'll use from now on.

P411 is a great asset.  Highly secure and tough to get in...for good reasons.  

I don't know the full details, but understand some women or agencies were "asked to leave" in recent months.  The reasons for doing this included fake photos in their profile and/or other credibility issues.  

The kind of people that use fake photos are the same kind of people who are highly vindictive.

is that, at least in my experience, ladies that have strict screening requirements( and by that I mean their websites say you HAVE to provide such and such info to be verified) will take your membership and provider ok's as sufficient screening to see you.And, in some cases WITHOUT looking at your profile.

The "provider view" shows your ok's but i'm not sure some of the ladies actually contact the providers to verify.

btw, I ONLY use P411 providers because I don't do BP or Eros and I won't fill out online website verification/appt request forms that require employment info.

I use my alias because my original screenname I chose before I met my ex wife (I'm a member since 2005, although I didn't start hobbying until after my divorce). My ex wife knows that screenname and she still snoops in my stuff even though we are divorced (snooping was one of the things that led to my leaving her). So, the reason I use my alias is more to evade her snooping and not to decieve or evade anyone in here. As with anything, there are more reasons people do things than what you think. It's too broad of a brush that you are painting with.

You say that you're divorced from that snooping ex-wife, but yet she STILL snoops around your stuff?

Unless you gave her your TER password, the ex-wife has no way of knowing your TER ID unless you told her.

Actually, I have never had a date off of Date Check. So P411 has been good to me.

All she would have to do is get her own membership for $25 and search for my original handle, then she would see all my reviews. Now, why would she do that being that we are divorced? That still baffles me, it's what broke us up and it's clearly over but this is who she is.

...then on date-check we can add visiting dates for different areas without paying and on p411 you have to pay for visiting ads IF you don't do enough signups/referrals already and their message board to advertise on date-check is free vs on p411 ad boards you have to pay for each area you want to advertise in also. Small differences but can be big sometimes.

1.  P411's layout is more intuitive and ad-free.  Date-check is a clusterfuck of ads.

2.  The okays are monitored by Gina (the owner).  You cannot be subjected to a vindictive 'do not see' just because you write a less than flattering review.  Either you get the okay, or we have to explain to Gina why not.  We also do not have the option of not responding.  At the same time, I trust Gina to listen to reasons for not giving an okay, and to remove someone who is not safe.

3.  Gina holds providers accountable to be professional.  If you send an appointment request, or an okay request, we must respond within X number days (4 maybe? - not sure) or our account gets suspended.  It helps weed out the flakes.  Many girls bitch about this requirement - I think it's good.

4.  Gina is transparent with the issues she has had.  When accounts have been compromised by LE, she has posted the details on her site.  I have never seen anything like that from DC, and yet I'm sure they have had similar issues which they just pretend didn't happen.  It opens Gina up to scrutiny, and sometimes people use her transparency against her, but she maintains her integrity as far as I'm concerned.

5.  The P411 encrypting is significantly better - and in my relatively uneducated opinion - safer - than Date-check.

Just my .02, which probably isn't worth that.

Date-Check is just too easy to be on and get verified, so that in itself makes you wonder. The only thing I like better is the option for giving a reference there. It is not just "ok" but you can flat out put a ncns or "Do NOT recommend" for other women to see, and I like that feature. 411 is more red tape to get verified which is GOOD for the provider. It shows Gina does not just allow anyone to be on her site, and that is worth more in the end.

Thank you, Natashalynne! That was a great list, and I tend to concur. I am happy to know that Gina is so professional about this, and it makes me more comfortable with the system of a third party screening thing.

One interesting thing I have noticed is that I don't get any traffic from P411 on my stats, but I have booked an appointment or two from there. On the other hand, I get significant of traffic from DC, but have never had a serious inquiry from there.

I also like the idea that it is harder to get on P411. But I really appreciate that we have both services. I am glad I do not have to choose between them.
