Ladies, time to switch to wireless, I guess.
I'm wondering what setting the metal detector was on. Having been through many airport screening devices since 9-11, I've never seen a lady stopped for wearing an underwire.

I know a frequent flier with titanium plates and screws in his leg and that doesn't set off even the hand wand. Maybe the maker of the bra that set the alarm off should come out with a "Xena - Titanium" model.

(Although I think her alter ego, Lucy Lawless, would have appreciated wearing whatever this lady did, when Lucy was singing the national Anthem here:

Talk about a crowd pleasing rendition!)

"hmmm, does this mean we should just go braless? "

What! Do you know what that would do to Victoria Secret's stock? ;-)

I can just see it now, the next time I have to go through airport security. A sign says please place all liquids in the special ziploc bag, and use the seperate bin for underwire bras. You'd see women of all ages doing the 'remove the bra while the shirt is on' dance they hadn't done since their highschool or college days in the car!

I wonder if I could get a job with the TSA as their chief underwire inspector?  ;-)
Or, as a private citizen, I'd be more than happy to offer assistance to any lady unsure of whether her bra was metal or plastic. House calls not a problem! Ladies, better to know before you go to the airport or courthouse! Just call 1-888-BRA-CHECK to schedule an appointment.

Please, let them tell me to take my bra off.

For the newbies - I'm a TS.  Giggle.

So even though I'm a girl and my ID says I'm female I'm still anotomically male - and last I heard there was no law against males going topless.

"That" would give them something to REALLY talk about...

Giggle,
TS Jamie  :-)

I was frisked for my underwire bra at the airport.  She was cute and flirted while she did it.

She was telling me I looked like a celebrity, then trying to remember the name while she ran her hands along my breasts to determine if I had anything there.  She didn't tweek my nipples, that would have been going too far :)

So it's a risk for TSA (therefore US!) at airport security.
