As well as feasible

TER provides reviews for other gentleman to view, but many complain about abuses, inaccuracies and more. As well, since the reviews are somewhat explicit a more discreet lady such as myself is not too keen on having details of my private time with a gentleman out there. As well, many of my clients don't like it either. With email/IP track and so forth, they feel they have way too much to lose.

So how about an Escort Union - Local 6969

Let's say some of the heavy hitters and long time girls begin a website, and invite every lady - no matter her price range - to join. She is required to provide references from other ladies and gentleman for acceptance and a small annual fee (probably under $100). Ladies who wish to join the union would have to demonstrate good habits, punctuality, reliability, honesty, and refrain from certain unsavory behaviors.

Girls get a emblem for their site, and gentleman can go the union site - free of charge - and make sure a lady is legit. As well, he can give her a positive or negative mark (sans details). Too many negative marks and a review board looks over the lady's profile, interviews her and asks for current references in order for her to stay in the union.

Benefits for ladies:
- Photographers
- Website services
- Legal advice/help
- Medical services
- References
- Protection from bad clients

It is a way to make ladies accountable for the way they treat gentleman and other ladies. As well, the men can know when they visit a union girl she has been screened and so forth.

So what do you guys think?

I get so tired of hearing complaints and whining about the juicy details.

If you don't want your private time revealed in a review, don't participate. How in the heck do you expect guys to be able to pick and choose without juicy details?

I say if you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen.

There are other review forums that don't share ANY details in their reviews.
IMHO they are worthless.

I cannot even begin to count the number of men who say they are uncomfortable writing "juicy details", or those who do not want to pay for VIP access as they do not want a paper/electronic trail back to them. Also, how many times have guys complained he read one thing in a review and the lady said "I don't do that. That guy lied."

If a guy wants certain "things" he can e-mail me directly. Plus, such notes can be mentioned on the union website without being graphic.

Discretion is key. If it wasn't I would be running 30 second ads during the Superbowl.

Finally, TER is fine, and does not need to change. I thought it might be nice to have another option with more resources for ladies.

If your friends don't want to write reviews, they don't have to. If they don't want to be VIP, they don't need to sign up. Sure there will always be liars. But I would say for the most part that reviews have a leg to stand on.

I don't mind guys asking me in an email for certain things, an outfit..etc. Any guy who contacts me has a damn good idea what I am about. They don't send me emails asking for "things". My dates do their homework before they contact me.

If the details were left out of reviews we hobbyist would no longer know what to expect from a provider.  This in my opinion could cause more problems then it would solve.  It would lead to more explicit questions on the phone.  I think it would also cause a higher percentage of meetings that resulted in "no chemistry". Hobbyist would not know up front exactly what to expect from a provider.  I dont want schedule with a provider and find out once we have met that XXXX is not allowed.  Finally if you are a provider odds are we already have a fairly good idea what is going in behind closed doors with hobbyist.

expressed in a lurid manner. I write a narrative that gives an idea of what the session was like, my interaction with and impression of the lady, and which mentions the activities enaged in without reading like porn and without he-man chest thumping. I find that the more graphic reviews almost always are written to make the client look good and are proportionately of less value for their intended purpose.

I keep certain details to myself for the sake of my own and /or the lady's sensibilities and /or because in some cases these details fall outside of the established frame of reference. Reviews can be written by gentlemen......

This site's disclaimer is that the content is fictional. While writing a review here might give you probs with the Hausfrau I personally do not worry about it legally.

Lastly - tech adequate to baffle LE is available to misdirect backtracking from this site. Should DHS / NSA take an interest your screwed..... but these jolly folks are more concerned about the movement of money.

Zola:

This is complex:

I am one who doesn't write reviews and who hates to leave a paper trail.

On the other hand, as Sexy Carolina points out, like many others, I find reviews VERY helpful to me in trying to determine in advance with whom I may be compatible.  And, yes,  there may be inaccuracies in some of those reviews, but if the significant majority concur about a lady's services, attitiude and appearance, I consider them reliable and have not ever been mistaken in that assumption. And photographs are an absolute must, for me, at least.

At first blush, the though of a "union" seems highly uninviting to me as a hobbyist and carries overtones of Nevada brothels -although I fully understand that such is nowhere close to your intent or description.

Its likely that you have thought through your proposal where us respondents haven't.  What you will get from the likes of me initially is knee-jerk responses.  It is quite possible that the idea will mature in the minds of others and the merits reveal themselves.

I greatly admire the creativity of your thinking.....

It wouldn't provide insight into what services she provided. DFK? BBBJ? DATY? Etc.  A lady can be a high-quality provider without providing a complete menu of services, but I want to know what to expect.  It helps me make my decision and helps avoid disappointment.

I would not feel comfortable asking a lady I had not seen about services offered in an email or over the phone.

and tasteful. I don't think a review with juicy details says less of the Gentleman or the Lady. It is a review. One thing to consider, a Lady might get juicier depending on the Gentleman she is with. But, I wouldn't call this a lie. I call it Chemistry. So when you consider juicy details in reviews, remember it isn't about rocket science, but perhaps there might be chemistry involved.

I never said - "Let's get rid of TER"

A union would be another option for those looking for a lady. If a lady is part of the union she could still have reviews - her choice.

But unlike TER, the union would account for No Shows, offer ladies more in depth resources and not require membership of gentlemen.

Daty 3  But how do we know she enjoyed it? Did she get wet? If I were a guy I would want to know if a lady gets wet. You can moan all you wan, but how your body reacts is the real deal. Does my mouth get wet when I am sucking his sock?

Do I enjoy it?

So if you fake liking a BBBJ you wouldn't want a guy to write that you loved blowing him?!!?? Probably not.

I never thought that for a second

Let me say this.
Five years ago I never had a clue about anything like The Erotic Review, or anything about escorting.

This Forum is a valuable resource. You can't deny that this Review Forum also enhances your needs. We have benefited from it in HUGE ways.

Remember this is a Review Forum

But look at what else it offers.

Look to the left

Look to the right

If it isn't giving you enough and you need more or less so be it.

Besides all those reviews are a pleasure trip for your senses and a figment of some poor guys imagination..

I agree with Caolina whole heartedly..

What would TER be without giving so much pleasure to it's members..It's not just the guys who reap the rewards of this site so do we ladies.

I feel no remorse when a gentlemen describes erotic fantasies about me. I wish more would engage in such banter but it is up to each individule to find his or her comfort level.

I'm happy here on TER but would advertise on a new site if I thought it was worth the money..Sure

Do I think it would be as popular as this site..Never happen

and frankly some of the reviews i have read are disturbing and reflect very poorly on the reviewer.

within TER one can also adopt the practice of writing reviews only for those who want them and not otherwise.

in your case and that of others this leads to not being able derive the maximum benefit from membership.

for discreet providers i like your union idea very much. i wish it existed now,

I actually wish TER would allow both types of reviews: Juicy and well, non-juicy, but tasteful. I am fairly new to this business and reviews are a big deal. Potential clients read them to decide if they want to see a lady or not. For a new provider not having many reviews can effect my business. Luckily there are other sites out there not as stringent as TER. Although I do understand TER's rules: Clients HAVE to give juicy details. It's annoying to my clients who take the time out to write a glowing review of their time with me, and because they didn't put the juicy details in the review, the review is rejected. I have received e-mails and calls from gentlemen I've been with asking me why their review wasn't accepted. I explain that TER wants juicy details, so if you didn't put in every naughty thing we did. In other words, the raw details, they won't post it. So they opt to write another review somewhere else.

Some gentlemen only rely on TER reviews, they don't trust escorts.com or bigdoggie, so for someone like me who has some gentlemen who don't want to write all of the juicy details, I have to have some of my reviews on other sites.

Some gentlemen don't like to write reviews at all. One guy called it repugnant. But for the guys that are more old fashioned shall I say, they don't like writing all of the juicy details.

It would be great if TER would just allow all types of reviews. The gentlemen I see are very busy men. And to take the time out to wrie a review and submit it to TER only to have it rejected because they wrote a tasteful one is a bit unbalanced. But there are other sites so that's a good thing!

Services offered AND her approach.  The TER review system has benefited me greatly over the years.  The quality of providers I saw and services I received increased dramatically once I found TER and its reviews.

I can certainly understand why some women may not like it, but it's a gold mine of information for the men.

Yes. You don't have to write reviews or have reviews written about you. Exactly. There are other forums you can write reviews. They give no information.
"Another great date with so and so."
And the date fee was 12345

Believe it or not I am discreet. I see a handful of friends a month.

There is no better advertisement in my opinion than a review. My website tracks everything. If I get a review on ter, I get hundreds of hits to my site.
It is for each individual to decide what kind of exposure you can live with. If the shoe doesn't fit, don't wear it.

in that it provides useful information to the hobbyist and advertising to the provider. The narrative bit is critical to me, as I don't care that much about the acronyms but very much about the "sexual personality" of the lady....There is wide latitude in the manner in which a review may be written to reflect the taste of the gentleman and satisfy the requirements of TER. I tend not to be graphic, yet I've never had a review rejected for lack of detail.....

I can't imagine the independent ladies I have met joining a classical union, but I could see an association of independent providers (like the Hanseatic league of the late middle ages or the current OPEC or a professional association like the AMA or the Bar Associations.) The purpose would be to arrange investment for retirement funds, legal and medical services as you suggest along with accountancy and tax advice, also disability insurance.  Political action would also be possible and perhaps allow for abolition of LE harassment. Ladies like the one below who is being stalked and threatened could turn to the association for help. I do believe political action would be possible  Who would have thought in the late 1950s and early 60s that gay people would be fighting not merely not to be harassed by LE and banned from government and political life if in the open but for the right to marry.

I spent a lot of time caring for a group of uninsured providers and I recognize the need for non judgmental and at times non reimbursed medical services.  (It got particularly tough when a hospitalization was necessary and I had to use my influence to have it done without charge.)

and many others who are fearful of getting over their heads..

A site like that would draw much attention from LE..Also they could use it as a model bust and try to claim it is organized Crime..Now the Feds get involved.

Much money and legal knowledge would be needed before such a venture of that size

seriously do you know what one is?

from Wikipedia:
"a certified association of workers whose goal is to promote the economic social interests of its MEMBERS, in particular by negotiating and applying collective bargaining agreements" (emphasis mine)

Maybe you need to go watch Norma Rae and garner a clue.

Too many exceptional women at various phases in their careers, left without money when retirement time came, left without good health care coverage, and above all ruined by LE with frequent arrests and --tho charges were eventually dismissed-- huge expenses in lost equipment, wages, and legal fees. There needs to be some way professional talented women can do what lawyers, physicians, dentists and others have done thought they are all independent people to provide for their welfare and defend themselves.  I know you understand completely and appreciate the information you have posted.

this idea is certainly not another provider mall since it provides more service than advertising.

it is a different model from TER that is aimed at folks who want more discretion than the TER system provides. there is probably room for both i think.

Just a thought here and its just my opinion.  As long as prostitution is illegal any sort of organization could turn an activity that was previously only a misdemeanor into a felony.

(Prostitution = crime) + (union = organization) = organized crime (felony)
