No, it would only be hypocritical if I ever cheated on my mate, and I have not. I got paid to fk other women's mates, but I have never cheated on someone I was with... the two have nothing to do with another. Why would I marry someone who is already cheating on someone else, thus telling me he does not honor the vows he made? Why would I marry a guy who knows just how easy it is to hook up with providers? I would not. It's not my idea of what a relationship is built on. If I can't trust someone, I should not be with them.  

I wouldn't expect my partner to be. But I would want to know about it. Just like I would be honest with him about me wanting to experience someone else.

I am of the don't ask don't tell opinion, most of the time that is. When dating an active provider, I already know, but I don't want details. When dating someone who is an ex provider, I usually just don't want to know if she is still working, but I do expect the truth if I ask, just like if pressed I will tell the truth about other women. I don't bring it up, but unless I am in a committed relationship, it really shouldn't matter unless we are headed in that direction.

What if he never cheated ether? What if he only done it when not in a relationship or as part of an open one?

..in their civilian lives.  One of my long-time faves and I have talked about this topic (from a purely theoretical point of view--neither of us have any "real-life" interest in the other).  She's become sufficiently cynical about men in general that she seems resigned to not having an SO until she stops providing; and even then, she seems to have fallen for the "skewed data sample" problem--since most of her clients are married men, it "logically" follows that all married men cheat.  I don't think that's true at all, but hey, I'm not gonna waste a lot of time on trying to change her mind.

Every time the question about dating or marrying a hobbyist you say you could never date someone who is already cheating. This assumes that all hobbyists are cheating. Well, it is true that many hobbyists are cheating, but it is not true that all hobbyists are cheating. There are many who only hobby if they have no SO.

If he is a guy who is into open relationships, he is clearly never satisfied with only one woman for a long period of time. Why would I date someone or marry someone who is not like me in those instances? That's a war, not a marriage. People don't tend to change for very long.  

I did not say they were evil... I said I would never marry one. Why does it matter if I choose not to spend the rest of my life with a man who spent his life fkin hookers just because I was a hooker for the money? No, not all providers have this liberal view of sex for their own relationships. Many providers are not naive enough to buy that most men are going to never stray for 50 damn years, but they also want to be selective with the type of men they are going to see for free. I don't have a problem being faithful, but I do have a problem staying with the same person for too long without becoming bored, annoyed, or staying turned on and attracted to that same person. Knowing that, if a guy cheated on me, I would probably not care. At the same time, I will probably not get into a relationship again with a man who wants to live together... I draw the line there. Marriage, sure. Same house? Fk that!

One was for single men who knew how easy this life made sex to attain, and the other was married men already cheating on someone else. It's one thing for a guy to have done this a few times in his lifetime.. it is another for him to have LIVED this life for 15 freaking years.

The reality is these things change. She's not even in a LTR to my knowledge. She's focused on her new career. I guess that's prob keeping her busy these days.

Some guys are able to leave the hobby completely when they meet someone special.
