I recently saw a provider and did some DATY. The very next day I got a cold sore on my lip.

I have done this many times with many different providers and never had this happen. Just wondering if this is something that other hobbiests would want to know ahead of time.

I found this rather interesting website.  Interestingly, the CDC website has no discussion of cold sores.  It is true that herpes (I or II) can be transmitted to/from lips from/to genitals, but please read all the way to the bottom before drawing conclusions.

I'm quoting the most relevant fact for your situation below.  The link goes to the full article.

"Remember, cold sores are the clinical manifestation of recurrent, not primary, infection. In other words, appearance of a cold sore does not indicate a newly acquired HSV infection."

Maybe you should warn her.

There are also two other sites of interest www.coldsores.com and www.herpes.com.  According to the coldsores site approximately 80% of us are infected with herpes simplex 1 by the time we are 50 years old.

Just to let you know..most cases of herpes..especially cold sores lay dormant in a person system for months even years before showing in the form of a blister..some people will get a cold sore when they come down with a cold, a sunburn or a fever or anytime your immune system is  fighting off something...if you  have multiple sex partners any one of them may or may not be the cause..you could have had this passed months ago and then  be coming down with a cold and it will surface..or not...HSV virus is very hard to pin down to the exact transmission... ever wonder why a provider may stroke your penis slowly before BBBJ? looking closely before ravaging you..surprisingly enough she is checking (hopefully) for any open sores or blisters or anything else that should not be there,without  wrecking the moment by saying "i am checking for STD's" ..alot of people are not savvy about STD's and by saying in a review "i ended up with a cold sore" without knowing for sure thats how you obtained it could potentiallty wreck a person's career..seriously..if you did not see any abraisions on her,and obviously you were close enough to see. chances are you may not of caught it that way...if you caught the flu a few days later you would not include that,right..and from what  I know a cold sore would not  breakout the next day..it would take literally a week or more for the virus to  get to the point in your system to show..ask your Dr. if your unsure....

...someone oughta take these reviews away from these guys,seriously. I don't think some of these guys have the mental capacity to write a review. They think that writing a review means"write something about the girl" that's how flaming basic some of these guys are.

Why don't they admit they don't have any idea how to write a review?  Who cares about the colour of the drapes in the hotel room? I don't CARE if the hotel is four star or not. Does  the door lock? Can I shut the curtains so that no one can peek in? Do I have to tape them on the ends so they stay shut?

The hobby has its own characteristics;an incall has its own characteristics;every gal is different. We don't live in a perfect world;the hobby isn't perfect;nobody is the some from day to day.

For Chrissakes,guys,the gals are brave enough to get naked with YOU for a couple two,three hundred bucks. They deseve an excellent review.

so I guess the fact that she gives BBBJ to clients AND SWALLOWS would have no bearing on whether she passes along HSV or anything else?

and of course I guess BBFS is ok too then since we won't know where it comes from if we catch something and it just so happens that she was the ONLY provider you barebacked with?

Please, please, PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELF about transmission of STD's.  What you posted does not indicate to me that your friend passed something on to you, rather that you may have exposed her.

Writing something like this in a review would
do alot of harm to the provider.Her reputation
is at stake here.I can understand you wanting
to inform your brother hobbyists,but it is
not worth "burying" a provider who had nothing
to do with a cold sore you got the "next day."
