My cell phone took a crap on me so I got a new one and it won't work so they said 7 to 10 days for another one. How in the heck of this day and age can a man hobby without a cell phone. Get to incall and go to hotel desk to call Provider to see what room she is in, I don't think so. I guess I'll just have to take matters in my own hands then.

It's amazing how quickly we get spoiled by technology.

you buy a prepaid phone and card and you are up and running literally in a few minutes. you can probably get started these days with a phone and enough minutes to do what you need to do for $30-$40. If you don't have use for it once you get your regular plan reactivated, give it away, or just purchase the minimum amount of minutes required to keep your acount open ($20 every three months for virgin mobile, for instance) and keep it as a backup.

Funnny you should post this as I was just thinking about this today.

Remember when the second call in a two call system had to be from a specific pay phone?  Sometimes it was a pay phone she could see from her window.  Sometimes you had to describe your surroundings.  Later I suppose they were looking at caller IDs.

The reason I got a cell phone in the first place years ago was thanks to the hobby.  I had called an escort's screener and she mentioned to be sure and use my portable phone as the lady would not accept calls from payphones.  That requirement propelled me into cell world long before it was common.  People would ask me, "Why do you need a cell phone?" LOL

Escorts not only make you happy.  They keep you up to date.

cell phones, computers, the internet, have all changed how this business does things.  My main reason for getting internet service years ago was so I could connect with the ladies.  

I haven't made the move to a blackberry yet (I'm not sure if it would be a benefit for me or not).  I wonder what new gadgets will come along, and how it will change this hobby?
