Had a couple recent visits where 2 cups were served, something on the new side for me as I always seemed to go more for the shared simmer over the quick boil.

The number of cups depend on the amount of time I have on my schedule and how frequently I see the provider.  If I see her frequently (once a month) one cup is good.  If I see her every several months 2 cups will quench my thirst.Lol

...it's really good stuff, like Darjeeling.  Then I might have two.

The first cup is always the best so what's the point in going for two?

I mostly always get off.  Whether it's an hour or four hour session.  
Just my point of view, for me. If "blowing a huge load"  was the most important thing, I would stay home.  
There's no right or wrong here.  Just different approaches.
