Everyone has a ceiling of how much they will pay, what is your ceiling?  For instance will you pay a certain amount for sm and a certain amount for fs etc.

$$$$ is my limit. She has to be extra special pretty and anal should be on the menue(it's not always a deal breaker though). I should clairify that my sexual tastes are fairly "vanilla" . You mentioned S&M. Kinks & fetish requests  usually come at an extra charge so be prepaired to pay for those specialties.

I try to stay in the $300 range in order to stretch out the number of available sessions. That's a pretty low number in LA.

The most I ever spent for 1 hour was $800 for a double and the girls knocked my socks off. The most I've spent for one girl was $500 but she was a former Playboy Playmate. Not sure she was worth it!

if I have the money and the chemistry is right, the amount is immaterial.  But I only know that if I know her well, or if we've spent considerable time together.  I've had providers resist my giving them more money.  

On the other hand, if she's deliberately chintzy, I will be, too.

Hopefully you won't get in trouble for expressing common sense.  Once I've gotten to know a provider pretty well, I've been offered discounts (which are great and VERY negotiable) and freebies (which I REALLY don't prefer because it's these girls’ livelihoods).  I'd rather take the $ off offer (or the $$ off), but nothing unfair to either party.  My .02.

I agree with Turk.
I usually stay within the $300-$400/hr. range.
However, I have given up to $750 for 2 hrs. with a particularly fine lady.

And it does depend on the lady.
I am planning a cross country overnight trip just to meet and visit a very special lady I have become aquainted with on the TER boards.
Am I nuts?
Maybe, but when the opportunity comes along to meet someone very special, money just doesn't seem to matter.

I'm lucky being in NC, good providers at 1.5 to 1.75$ and some real stars at 2 to 2.5.

First, I made a rule for myself of a $300 limit. Primarily because I am not rich and also because in doing quite a bit of research in the south florida market I saw that very same type of scores for both looks and performance were given consitently to providers at 300 and girls for more, but below that figure it is difficult to find someone who ranks way up there.

I was surprised myself to see that some guys down here are happy to pay four figures sometimes and come away with a similar experience, at least numbers wise, as they could have had for 300.

Second item, I have been reading the boards for quite some time now and it seems to me that some folks use $$$ to represent a cash outlay and other folks use 1.5$ and other folks just spell it out.

What is the point? It just confuses the heck outta me when I read all these wierd hieroglyphics (sp?).

BTW- I'm not dissing the $$$$ and $$$$$ ladies, they prbably work hard for their simoleans.  But I think they are only needed by the totally flush and guys who don't get it atr home.

If I didn't have a good sex life with the SO? I'd be tempted by the hotties.  But this is a game for little extrras that are not on the usual menu for me, so I focus on skills and massages...

And I do think it would be less fun if I RELIED on SPs for my carnal entertainments
