I've been thinking a lot about the state of "this life" we seem to enjoy. It may just be me but it seems like things are going down hill fast. Over the last year some of the lady's I consider the best the business had to offer have retired. Typically when that happens, new blood steps in to fill the void and offers comparable or even better service. But then again, look at the NBA. Since Jordan, Bird and Magic left, the league and quality of play generally sucks. Anyway, here are a few of my suggestions.

For The Lady's

Website Advertisement - If you are going to market yourself as a premium escort, invest in a premium website. Invest in yourself for your image is all you have to go on in most cases and you never get a second chance at a first impression. If you are going to charge $$$$ per session yet your website is hosted on a free ISP, with 10,000 pop-up windows, or the type that shuts down after a certain number of hits per day, does not speak well of the lady. When I say invest in a good site, also does not mean you have to have every special effect in the book. Not all guys have high-speed internet access and there is nothing worse that to be sitting for minutes waiting for a page to load.

Less Is More -  It may be my own personal opinion, but when I'm looking to select a lady to share my time with, I want to be seduced. If I go to her site and I'm basically looking at a Hustler Magazine layout spread, then I'm probably not going to want to see her. Again it may be me but seeing a lady in sexy lingerie or a evening dress that seems to be painted on her, get my juices flowing. It leaves something for the imagination. I consider it a form of foreplay. Be flirtatious in your ad without being explicit.

Up To An Hour - If a guy pays for a certain amount of time, be willing to spend that time with him. I know guys who have paid to visit a lady for an hour and have been shown the door in 20 minutes. I once paid to see a lady for an extended visit (2 1/2 hours) and she was trying to show me the door after about 50 minutes. I was glad to leave but I also took some of my donation back. Lady's I know time is money but the same can be said for the guys. Some guys can only afford an hour at a time. Some guys only want an hour at a time. Some guys want all night sessions. The bottom line is if you are willing to see a guy for a certain amount of time, I feel you should make yourself available for the full time contracted. Now how you fill that time is between the two of you. One of my favs who retired last year, did not feel comfortable offering 1-hour sessions and went to two-hour minimums. Sure it pissed of some guys, but it was what she was comfortable providing and ultimately made for a better experience for both. Plus she did not feel she was being taken advantage of for wanting to set a certain mood.

Glamour Shots - This is a tough one, for again, your ad is that first impression you get with perspective clients, but if you are too made up, the guy may feel let down when he meets you and you don't look like you came out of the 1 hour make-up session. I would suggest taking pictures that would be reflective of how you would look i.e. make-up, hairstyle, etc. if a client were to meet you. Sort of gives a better expectation. I hate it when I hear a guy say, "She looked nothing like her pictures". On the same vain, don't use pics that are old. There is a certain lady who may be in her mid 40's and is using pics of her when she was in her 20's.

Body Art - I know I may be showing my age on this one, but what is the deal with the women now getting all these tattoos? I don't mind a simple sexy one, strategically placed. i.e. butterfly on the shoulder, rose on the thigh etc. What I don't like is to see a lady covered like she is working in the carnival sideshow. I'm not spending top dollar for that. In fact I may be wrong but many guys spending money in this hobby may not be willing to go on the dinner date, or night on the town, spending that kind of money and she has more tats than The One Man Gang (wrestler from the 80's. Man do I have to explain everything LOL). What kills me are the lady's who have their name on their arm or their chest. Like they forgot who they are? I can take the piercing but can someone PLEASE explain the gold tooth thing? Sorry but don't call yourself upscale or ask for top dollar from me and you have that going for you.

Run the Business Like A Business - Communication and customer satisfaction are the keys to any business in the service industry. If a lady has a phone contact number, she should have on her recording that if she does not get back to you after a certain period of time, she probably will not. I know lady's get tons of calls a day and if they spent all day responding to calls, they wouldn't get any work done. Same goes with e-mail. Don't have a auto responder telling me you are going to get right back to me and then I get a reply a week later. One quick tip lady's, if you want to score big ego points and get a repeat client, send him a thank you e-mail or note after the session. I guarantee the guy will be a regular. Customer service is the key.

For The Guy

Don't Haggle - Most lady's will indicate what their donation is. Nothing say's you are cheap quicker than trying to be Monty Hall and play let's make a deal. Don't try to talk her down off her rate. Don't ask for 30 minute sessions if she does not do them. Don't try to barter. (One lady told me a guy tried to offer her gift certificates to a super market in exchange for her services). If you haggle all you are doing is pissing her off and trust me, the lady's compare notes.

Be On Time - I know this goes both ways but I think its more a problem with the guys. If you think you may be late, call ahead. If you think you can't keep the appointment, call to cancel. If you don't, get use to having more lady's asking for deposits. If you book a session and don't show, that is income out of her pocket and time wasted where she probably could have booked another person for the time you were going to see her.

Hygiene - Wash your butt, brush your teeth, rinse your mouth out, use deodorant, use QUALITY cologne IN MODERATION, don't come in clothes that are dirty or smell of smoke. nuff said. Trust me, that is probably the biggest complaint I here lady's tell me about the guys. It blows my mind that a good would not want to be clean prior to seeing a lady but some guys feel why care about her if he is giving a donation. Wrong attitude! The more comfortable the lady is, the better chance you will have a good visit.

Listen To The Big Head - If you go to see a lady, and she is clearly not the person you want to see, (bait and switch), leave. Don't come here pissed and say you still went through with it because you were horny but it was a nightmare. A fool and his money are soon parted.

Be Realistic -  Don't fall in love. Regardless of how much these lady's may love their job, it is just that A JOB! Many have boy friends and yes husbands. Many guys are amazed at this fact. Don't get too caught up in the fantasy. You will hurt yourself in the end and she will end up with a stalker. Appreciate the lady and the moment and then get on with your life. If you and the lady click and it is mutually agrees that there is something more than a business relationship, then lovely. Trust me, it happens. But don't force it or wish it to happen if she does not want you to cross that boundary.

Possibly your list should include choice between incall/outcall.  I'm new to the hobby and finding it just what the doctor ordered for wellbeing and contentment, but recently was lambasted by a Dallas provider on this point.  Seems she thought I was way off base suggesting that incall seemed more personal than outcall (and who doesn't like personal?), and since she advertised both I'd prefer incall.  Her response was that she was a big $$$ provider for good reason (meaning I guess that other girls could not be mentioned in the same breath, which she also said) and that she expected to be pampered, meaning not having to "clean up the trash" after a session.  She went on to to say her maid service at home only did floors.  Like I care!  Point is that maybe comments in the recent TER string on the subject of incall/outcall fell short in not covering this aspect of who's stuck with the set up and clean up, and that the resulting provider pampering, not the client's, is a major sensitivity.  Or was this provider just forgetting that she advertised a choice and expected big $$$ for the privilege?  Or did I just show up the wrong time of the month?

And as an afterthought, what about the possibility of showing up the wrong time of the month?  Do providers generally shut down for their periods, or do clients get held holding the bag?  Ugggh!  Haven't seen this discussed on the board.  Is this a question a client might properly ask when setting a date without causing a catastrophe?

Can't add much - you've about covered it all. Except I don't really like all the piercings - maybe my age! Girls that like to talk a little are popular with me, usually means they are in no hurry.

I think said provider suffers from that "I am a beautiful woman" arrogance that NO hobbyist should tolerate.

As I have said before, if you are the sort of man who lets civialian women walk all over you, well, to each his own.

But to PAY someone for such an attitude.....man

I think incall or outcall makes no real difference. The woman you saw would probably pay herself to masterbate LOL.

I think the lady's in general have safety issues with both in or out as well as setting the mood. I'm big on the mood and generally don't like the hotel thing because it is so impersonal. If a lady is offering in-call, but it is at motel 6, I may not feel like spending top dollar. But if a lady is offering incall at her place, she should at the very least make sure her place is clean just as you would for ANY guest you would be inviting into your home.  Me, personally, do not go for out-call unless I am in a city traveling, and either do not have transportation or don't know my way around. Its kind of hard to set the mood in a hotel room and it seems kind of comical to me when the lady show up and she has a boom box, candles etc., sets it up in the room and then takes everything down after its over. Too much like fast food. Plus out-call generally carries an additional charge which I never understand. (Gas can not cost you $50 more to drive over to my hotel. Domino doesn't charge extra to deliver. That is a joke ladies.) I think more lady's feel at ease being on "their home court".

As far as lady's working during that time of month, I've never had a problem with that. In fact on the three ocassion when I booked in advance, and then the lady had to cancel because it was her time, all lady's were super about it. Either offering a discount as in one case, a free session as in another (I was a long time client), or extra time as in the third. The bottom line was this was customer service at its best. Major points were scored in my book from all three lady's. I count myself luck that I have not encountered a situation where a lady did still want to go through with the session even though it was her time of the month. That is very risky to her health anyway. Sometime the market has to close. Plus most women I know are really not in the mood for some strange guy to be all over them during that time.

For the clients -- Don't eat baked beans, mexican food or chili dogs prior to a session. LOL

Good post and something everyone needs to be reminded of from time to time.

I would add for the guys to be honest, up front, and polite. Be yourself and don't try to be something your not. I have found the ladies enjoy me for who I am.  Not that I am in any way great, but they like me for being a down to earth and honest person.  Also, be sure to compliment her on her looks, what she is wearing, when she does something you like, or whatever you notice. Be genuine and not phony in a compliment. The ladies hate a phony.

Wolfpack, you said it all!!! You don't sound like no wolf.  I probably don't need to add to your observations and tips, but here's something I do which may help a few other guys. I always visit a provider with the mindset of pleasing her, then in return I often get the fulfilled fantasy of a lifetime.

And here's a hint for the bait and switch situation: As soon as you see her, say, "Oops! wrong room!" And then leave. This happened to me once, and that's exactly what I did. (Except I think I ran.)

Oh, and one more idea: I never make a meeting with anyone who has just ONE picture on their site or on their agent's site. ANYONE can take ONE good picture. Even with bad-ass looks, there is a certain angle with a certain light that can make just about anyone look somewhat good. I like to see at least 3 or 4 pics with different angles and and different attire. Add those pics to the performance reviews on this site and you can have fairly good confidence that you'll get what you hope for.  Of course, even with multiple pics, there is still a lot of photo-trickery and retouching that can be done, but I always avoid a one-photo escorts (I even avoid the escort with very dark photos. What are they hiding?).

In this case I told the lady I thought she was pretty full of herself and that it probably was time she took a vacation.  We obviously never got together.  I agree that attitude born of arrogance is at the center of the matter, and that we hobbyists tend to feed that trying as we do to contribute to the mood.  But mood is important, so we're kind of stuck with what we create.  Let's just hope that our ladies are professional enough to recognize our pampering for what it is, and that we truly are paying for a service they offer to deliver.

Great to hear your comments on how providers you have used deal with their time of the month.  Last thing I want to do is discuss flow cycles when all I hope she has in mind is creating the flow.

I guess you are talking about my first point. Yes I have seen your site. You hit the nail on the head. I design websites and the one thing all my clients are amazed at is the low overhead involved with getting one set up and maintaining it. Its really peanuts to have your own domain. Even though most of the public comments have been postitive, you would be amazed at the private or e-mail comments I've gotten from some lady's on that point.

Their main argument is that why should they pay for a domain name when they can get webspace from from excite or yahoo. They could care less about the pop-up ad windows the visitors have to navigate through because they say the guys are only interested in the pictures anyway and never read the info. If pages load slowly because of graphics or audio files, they could care less. Finally they say what they charge should have no relationship to what type of internet presence they have. (Lets see, a cheap ass site yet the lady wants five bills an hour? Where does the money go LOL). I guess to them, getting paid is the bottom line.

LOL..I laugh so hard my head start to hurting..

The best experiences I have shared is where the lines between Who is the Provider and Who is the Client are blurred.  Countless times I have thought to myself... just who is the client in this transaction?    

In other words, don't wait for the lady to initiate every movement of passion, intimacy or raunchy sex.  Your efforts will be rewarded every time.  

Absolutely! We get off on seeing and hearing a woman enjoying herself! Anyone who isnt completely aware and focused on their partner isnt REALLY having a complete sexual experience...If SHE's not into it, I'M not into it.
