Just to let you know some background, we are five over forty and over fifty year old slobs who unfortunately happen to be involved one way or another in tired, unhappy relationships.

We got on the subject of " what if " we suddenly decided to cheat or replace our significant others in order to satisfy desires that are still very much alive within all of us. What type of women would we actually look for and choose to be with.

I've got to admit, I was more than a bit surprised at the overwhelming response the guys gave in choosing someone half their ages (20 to 25 years old).

You would think that the motivation in their decision was in the youthful look, the fun and flirty personalty, the tight perfect bodies.... but that was not it at all.

It made me think of my own choices with in this hobby. I assure you that I have no problem with the mature escort and had great experiences with a few of them but haven't spent time with one as yet that I could look at in the same light as I do the younger ones. What light is that ???

Tonight my friends made me realize.........

I got married at a young age and had a fantastic marriage up until my wife began her change into menopause earlier in years than usual.

This is a person you will be waking up with every day and sharing hours of interaction with each day too.

We both need someone who complements us (compliments would be good too.) in ways from emotional support to sharing of physical resouces not to mention philosphy of raising kids, etc.

How the hell are we supposed to make this distinction when we are young and stupid?  Unfortunately, if you want to raise a family, you have to decide sometime in your twenties or thirties.  I did, and I got it wrong.  It cost me big time money-wise, but at least I do have two wonderful children, and  shot of getting it right the next time.

What you wrote defines and describes your personal experience with YOUR wife.  It does not define nor describe mature women as a whole.  It certainly doesn't describe me!  It doesn't even come close!  

Now for the record I was married for 18 years.  My ex was a cold fish.  He was so bad in bed that I hated having sex with him.  His idea of foreplay was to grab my breasts for an entire 2 seconds and then want his cock inside me for about another 2-5 minutes. When I was married there were times I felt so lonely.  So completely undesired and unwanted. Other than for cooking, cleaning and taking care of the kids anyway.  There was no hand holding, no carressing, no mutual body rubbing, no kissing, etc.  The worst part was no touching.
