I for one have my doubts.  Too many liars and boasters (he he) in the game and on these boards for the ladies to get their panties in a bunch-  I think they are more likely to be a little wary of posters and the way we interact here.

Interesting Woman would be a lot more interesting if we knew who the hell she was.

A provider here in Florida did just that ... and her reviews are no longer on TER. She was removed rather quickly ... I guess someone complained of her "spamming." It pissed me off that she is no longer here with us on TER. Someone complains and ruins everyone else's fun.

I found it to be somewhat flattering that a lady would PM me, say that she saw I had reviewed some other ladies in the area, and point me to her website. The fact that she likely sent the same message to several dozen other guys is irrelevant.

I had seen her pics and website before, but getting her PM made my day.

I personally initiated contact with NOSC and Netmichelle BECAUSE I found their viewpoints and board personas to be sexy.  

Besides, most of you ladies are certainly capable of gauging a guy's interest in thoughtful dialogue, and scaling it back when that is a business-savvy thing to do.  

I suggest that you offer clues, but make it a very minor challenge for your professional identity to be determined.  That way, those who care will try to figure it out and find you, and those who won't, won't bother.

I've noticed people can get really heated in their discussions on this board with politics, religion, gay marriage, etc. I enjoy reading the discussions but I rarely respond unless I use an alias.

Providers post because we like to hang out here--you guys are definitely fun and very intelligent, but there's also a business reason--it lets people know we're around and still active in the business.

I'd hate for someone deliberately cross me off their list because I have a strong opinon that is at variance with theirs--especially a topic that would never come up anyway on a visit with a provider. (like gay marriage--that's not the usual casual chit-chat you have when you meet someone, LOL.)

Once, on the third or fourth (civilian) date, this guy happened to make a joke about a local Republican candidate that I thought was very appropriate and I laughed back with him.

He then told me he was glad I was a Democrat because Republican girls were too uptight and conversative for his tastes. Imagine his surprise when I told him I was a registered Republican.

So, I hope the guys here understand why some of us girls use aliases with certain topics.

I like to keep their feathers ruffled. If they can't handle my posts, they probably can't handle the rest of the package. Its a good filter.

Apparently you feel that your viewpoints are so far outside the norm that no men would want to see you if they knew your advertised identity.

I guess that would just put you on equal footing with the hobbyists who post on this board using their regular alias and of course that would not be fair.  Many ladies now demand a gentleman's TER handle as part of their screening procedure.  The stated reason is so that the lady can look at his reviews and posts on the discussion boards and determine whether they would like to see that gentleman.  Of course as we all know this information is often used for other purposes as well.

It is probably unfair of me to expect you to show the same courage for your convictions that the ladies expect the men to show when posting on this board.

I guess men are not the only ones who deal in double standards.
