Like she said you might want to look at the picture again. This is a GENERAL discussion board. Last time i checked general was a very broad term and jokes fit right into it.  So if you really feel the need to troll the boards and police it, I feel terribly sorry for such an uneventful and miserable existence.

I do see that the OP modified her post to make it "On Topic" for the GD board, I never saw the original OP, but I am betting that CS was correct and that it was simply a post for attention.  In the past a mod would have caught that and simply disallowed the post instead of allowing her to modify the OP to make it look like it was compliant the whole time.

Many people wonder why a post has to get approved when it is modified, even if the poster is unmoderated, This is the reason. an unknowing person might get the idea that Crazyshit was actually "full of shit" because the post in it's present form is "on topic", but from how the original OP was described, I am willing to bet it most certainly was not "on topic"

Oh well what the fuck do I know after almost a decade on this board.

In the "old days" being moderated meant that moderators had to actually read your post and decide to post it, move it to another board, edit it, or deny it. Now being moderated just means there is a time delay before your post goes up. Everything gets posted. Nothing is read or pre approved. They just wait for the "report a post" button to light up.

Same thing with modifying posts. As you said even unmoderated posters had to wait for modified posts to get approved. Now it's instant, so you can post whatever you want and it will stay up unless and until someone reports it.
