I normally like to make arrangements with the ladies via email.  I'm a little shy, so it can be hard for me to call someone that I don't know.  If you prefer not to use email, I will call you, but I just find email easier.  And I have a record of what we discussed.

Having said that, if you really don't want to see me, then by all means, send me an email with poor spelling, incorrect punctuation, and bad grammar. That will guarantee that I will not want to see you. A small typo here or there or a misspelled word is no big deal, but I really prefer at least a minimal level of effort from the person when I contact them.

And I'm pretty sure that most providers feel the same way about the hobbyists that contact them. Laziness and rudeness are no very sexy.

sspelling, grammar mistakes and punctuation errors in my email and text communications. Typically when I am trying to respond while in a hurry, in transit or multi-tasking. No excuse though. However, I am always mindful of my manners. I value respect and decency so I apply and practice those values. Being rude is unacceptable. These are good and respectable points as well as a necessary reminder to all. Decorum.

 Xoxo Alexa V

I have always assumed it was lack of education, not lack of effort. A little slang is fine, a typo is not a big deal, but if you can't form a decent sentence or you can't read for comprehension and write a coherent response to a question, then it can get rather frustrating.

Give me educated pussy any day

As for the OP, IMHO anyone who has to come on the board to whine about such petty nonsense probably isn't getting much action to begin with.

I believe in fairness, hookers that whine rarely get a sympathetic ear from me, so why should whiny Johns?

The ones to whom you are addressing your advice likely don't give a flying rat's arse what you think of their spelling, punctuation, grammar and syntax.

I too, prefer email, and am often frustrated by the lack of writing skills displayed by many, both other providers and clients.

Unfortunately, it seems to be the way of things these days.  As you can choose with whom to spend your money, simply make your appreciation of decent writing known by spending it on those who put the time and effort into the form of message you prefer.  :-)

So what is clear is that no one is immune from bad writing/grammar moments.

In fact, I would bang the "Me So Horny" babe in a minute..

Stupidity and laziness aren't sexy. I also want to talk to them on a higher-than-third-grade level.

But hey - if you don't mind, that's fine.

when messaging you sometimes get stiffed?  (No pun intended.)   It happens to most guys who see agency girls until they get established.

As long as they respond in a timely manner and I can understand what they trying to say, I don't care. First anyone who reads my posts can testify to, I don't have much room to talk. Second, I am not paying them for their writing skills. Third writing ability doesn't necessarily equate to intelligence. I am much more intelligent then my writing would indicate and I know people who can write well yet outside of the written word they are dumber then a box of rocks.

You know how your sarcasm goes over most people's heads?
I am pretty sure John's use of "ladys" and "your" was sarcasm. :)
Based on many of his previous posts, he knows the difference.

It's not laziness or stupidity that causes people to misspell. It is the year of 2016 and in case you just fell off a turnip truck yesterday everybody these days communicates by cell phone. Meaning lot and lot of texting with its abbreviated words and slangs. People just do not have the practice of writing complete sentences anymore.

But hey anything that reduces demand or competition from sellers is good for me.

I've had a good time with some k-girls and a j-girl this past summer.  As far as I know they didn't understand English.  It was mostly pointing and touching to convey ideas.

Of course spelling and grammar are important, but is that enough?

Shouldn't we develop a kind of SAT examination for providers that would allow hobbyists to judge mathematical and reasoning skills; a basic knowledge of World geography and at least American history (those who took a supplementary examination in World history could certainly charge extra.)

I know, I know: I have left out the sciences, the arts, and at least basic economics as well as things like driving skills and some simple mechanical engineering, but I do think some people might consider that a bit too much.

It happens to stupid people as well.

As for the rest of us, booking a hooker is hardly rocket science. It constantly amazes me just how many people can do this, literally for years, and still haven't figured out how to book with a hooker.

Oh well, you can't fix stupid.

As is clear from the responses, what bothers you is not an issue at all for others; some are looking for hot sex and others want a conversation to go along with that on the side.

If you receive a high proportion of email responses with bad grammar or a lack of coherence beyond the forgivable auto correct error or typo, maybe more research would prevent that? On the other hand, be glad to know before you meet that you might not be entirely compatible with someone.

Actually, most the responses I get are pretty well written. And I do try to check out their website or posts here to see if they can carry on a conversation.  But some of these websites sound like they were written by professional writers but when you get around to actually trading emails, they can't write a coherent sentence. Like pictures, such things can be faked.

... and anyone who thinks so hasn't been paying attention.  Most email is not encrypted, meaning anyone with network access can read everything you send or receive. I have a hobbying email that no one but me knows about.  And even then, I don't discuss sensitive information. However, it is nice to have an email with appointment time and place, so I don't forget (I'm getting older).
