Posting tends to drop off as the week wanes and even more so on weekends. Posting is just as easy in the new system. Since the back door has remained open, I wonder what the fuss is?

I'm still using the classic version, don't like new one.  I think a lot of folks have just decided not to post on the new version, and are not using the classic one.

Could be that not everyone is aware they can still use classic, or just know the new site will eventually be the only option.
Perhaps there are some who sincerely plan on spending a lot less time here, and are looking into other alternatives. Spending time researching other sites.
I know I am, and so are several I've corresponded with.

Unlike you and the shit heads that follow me around w/no opinions of their own, I don't seek support and validation from TER. There are plenty of people that have no beef with my opinions and that's all they are, opinions. You and other members of your posse should concentrate on your posts and opinions, not mine. If I address something and you don't agree with it fine, but to poke at this or that only serves to muck up the boards with your crap. Have an opinion for once that is YOUR own.

but they can certainly tell how much time we spend on the site. It would definitely be helpful if they could tell which version...because that would cement the point of what the users prefer.
Not that it matters much...as I think that point has been made repeatedly...with not much more than silence from "above".

I agree.  I think the reason is obvious.  The new format is more difficult to navigate so people are participating less.

Some ads with the ad tags to the left get bumped and some don't and I have seen this with my own eyes.  One was bumped when the gal added a picture in a reply to her own ad and the other one has 17 responses and each time goes to the top yet I posted on another gals ad and voila...nothing.  No rhyme or reason and this is going to be such a trainwreck when that is not fixed. Just wait, when certain ads are bumped and others are not it will be all out war. lmao

All regular posts bump to the top.  You leave for the day and come back and you have to sift through what you may have seen and what you have not.  Too much hassle.  I was using the classic but am forcing myself to try the new way because I know it is going to be gone soon.  

And let's not forget to mention that the color of the print is so light that you need a magnifying lens just to see the print. So not fun it makes my head hurt! lol

Make sure you tell the mods that you started the name calling Madcow, by lashing out and calling me a "coward".

Was it the "get over yourself" comment that got you so mad. It was simple discussion. You asked what the big deal was and I responded that the big deal was that 98% of respondents thought the new format sucked. Not everyone thinks like the 2% that is YOU. Then you strike out with the coward comment. Get over yourself fool.

Harassment? Ha, you have no idea how bad you made me feel by referring to me as a coward. I will not report you to the mods though, even if it DID cause me significant duress. I have bigger balls and a thicker skin than that.

Having worked in strip clubs, as an escort, and being a woman etc...I KNOW women. And what I know is if the bumping of ads is NOT figured out soon, we'll have a bitch riot (no offense to the ladies). There will be lots of drama about so and so bumping her ad, and some girls who don't like the other girls will purposely bump ads and act all innocent, even though they aren't. I'm a girl, we do these kind of things. Yep, we'll purposely bump above an escort we don't like just because. And some ladies won't do it on purpose...but it is what it is...completely backwards and wrong.

I like the new site, but I don't like a glitch that fosters drama. And it is already happening...yep, the drama among the ladies has already started.

SO PLEASE CHANGE BACK TO THE CLASSIC VIEW AS DEFAULT UNTIL THE GLITCHES ARE FIGURED OUT.

I saw a regular yesterday. He's a computer programmer. He explained that before a new product is launched by his company, they do extensive testing by various consultants to ensure the product is perfect, because they would hate to launch a faulty product. And while I'm all in support of the new site as you can see from my other posts...PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD AS THE DEFAULT UNTIL THE GLITCHES ARE FIGURED OUT. It's much more professional that way and perhaps some of the provider drama over the bumping of ads will stop.

I am sure both of you will survive your little spat without moderator intervention.

I have no plans on doing a thing unless and until your little spat becomes disruptive to the board. In the meantime I will join the rest of the board in laughing at both of you.
