Downey has made other movies, but none made it to the big time (albeit briefly) like Swope did.

The movie he made just before Swope was Chafed Elbows.  It can be seen on Hulu (with tons of commercials, unfortunately).  It is a much more rough cut film than Swope, but hilarious in it's own way.
