What do you do when someone gives you a bad review because they're mad you wouldn't give them a discount and you go through the channels with T ER trying to get them to take it down, yet even though they don't hear from the person who wrote the bad review they still refuse to take it down? It is really really really messing up my business I have not gotten a single client since this jerk wrote this review because I wouldn't give him a discount and I had driven over two hours  got a hotel room and barely made not even $200 off our gate so I am pissed off here any advice?

that can request to edit and change it.   I would send him a PM and ask him nicely to change it if he wants to avoid having his name on  DNS lists circulated to the other providers. Maybe he will see he wisdom in correcting it.  If that doesn't work, then you send over Ice Pick Harry and Louie the Pipe to have a "talk" with him.  

Forget about it. Don't obsess over what in reality is a mediocre review , not a bad one.

you haven't gotten any new clients? Though it's not good, it's also not terrible. The worst he says is that your pictures are old, your price is too high, and he won't repeat. On the plus side, he compliments your behind and the way I read it the sex was good.  

To read his other reviews? There are a lot of 6's there with a 5,7, and maybe an 8, but I didn't see where he had many 9's.

Well ever since he wrote that review I haven't gotten booked, and I usually average at least one new request per week, but I don't always see the people, and not all write reviews though so you tell me

a review that suggests that you're older and heavier than your pics/profile imply is a big red flag for me.

I know you're upset but most girls with many reviews have one here and there thats less than stellar. Guys read several reviews and make a choice, one review can be easily seen that the guy is a douche or a "hard grader" or is being bitchy cause he got rubbed the wrong way. It wasn't a bad review and wouldn't keep me from seeing you if you were in my area. There is a whole world of clients that don't even know what TER is or read reviews. Give it time..I have a business too and when I'm slow I think the phone will never ring again, but it always does eventually. Hang in there and enjoy the downtime. It wont last. A negative review to me would be scored less than a six. He may have said that he would not see you again and that your pics were older, maybe you appeared a little heavier than he imagined, but don't fret. Remeber Remember one man's six or seven is another man's nine or 10.  

with "veterans" with a longer career than you have. It's easy for us to say "relax, it'll no ok", but this will soon pass.

Did the last review get more reads than your other reviews? Did your profile clicks go down or up after the review was written? I think you should be able to see that kind of data as a provider. Honestly the review was not that bad and would not worry in the long run.

You don't deny seeing him, usually the biggest reason for getting a review pulled. His opinion about your looks is "his opinion" and he has the right to said opinion, not to mention the review before his also mentions you are a bit "curvier" read "heavier" than expected, I just don't see any grounds for getting the review pulled, you "not liking" it is hardly enough reason to get a review removed.

You didn't just seriously suggest she "threaten him" over a so so review that quite frankly sounds VERY believable, did you?

Most of his reviews are of lower end providers with scores to match, but check out his very highest score, Ashley Dior is both the highest priced provider he has seen but she gets his highest scores  to boot. He seems to think he most definitely got his money's worth with Ashley who commands a higher rate than the OP.  

I'm with Gagambler on this, what specifically is incorrect about this review? Did he specifically ask you for a discount during the session? Having now read the review, I don't get what you feel is specifically unfair about this review.  

no incalls yet you claim you got the hotel room after driving over two hours. Did you not include a travel fee? Did you count the envelope discretely after you went to "freshen up"?  

It's shit like that that is screwing up TER's review system. How can you trust reviews if some guys are "selling" them? This has to happen given some of the reviews I've seen that don't come close to the provider. Review manipulation is a real problem and I'm not sure what the answer is.

After a quick glance at what others have said it appears as though you have received some honest advice.  I might be echoing much of what has already been said, but here is my two cents.  First, if I recall correctly (I briefly looked at your profile), you are based out of California.  That is a highly competitive market.  People probably expect around a 9/9 for $500/hr.  Second, your appearance scores are all 7's and 8's so even WITHOUT his review your average appearance score would be BELOW an 8.  Yet your rate is still $500/hr?  Personally, $500 is about as much as I am willing to pay for 1 hour.  You would have to be at least an 8/8 to even pass the first screen.  Third, the rater appears to be a hard grader.  Everything is relative.  Your rating falls is his average rating.  Fourth, maybe he considers value in his rating scheme.  I am unaware of any rating guidance.  It seems as though you didn't meet his expectations for that price point.  Generally, most people reflect that in a write up as opposed to scores, but I think that he did both.  PRICE MATTERS.  It is half of the value equation.  In other words, you have to adjust your price --- at least for a while.  The MARKET is speaking to you.  If I came across your profile, depending on a number of things, I might take a chance/risk at $200-$250/hr, but certainly NOT $400-$500/hr.  Why should I when I could assume NO RISK at that price point?

Once they hint they want a discount or a deal, they are completely cut off from ever seeing me. Email blocked. Those guys always turn out to be the worst. At ALL price ranges.  

I dunno about this.  That is your perspective.  It seems like this guy is about honest reviews.  No grade inflation.  Call it like you see it.  I don't see a power play here.  

Not to say that girl in particular did, but you never know.  

The provider in question is a frequent poster and from what I've seen of her posts, VERY unlikely to let a guy like this get over on her.

Of that time I bought a 3 series BMW and was mad that it wasn't like like the G series my ex owned. I should have bought a Passat.

I honestly don't know exactly how much I can bench, but I know it's a hell of a lot more than 100 lbs. I have fifty lb dumbbells that I do several sets of twenty five reps with, so I am guessing that I should be able to press a couple of hundred pounds at least once or twice. I know I am still a skinny fucker, so if you are really THAT feeble, you need to get your old ass into the gym.

While I am a newby on this board, I would not let this review get you down or expect it to hurt your business. I would easily book an appointment with you based on the other reviews. It would be clear to me that the one bad review was an anomaly and probably because of a lack of chemistry or something. It certainly makes sense to me now, based on your post, that he probably did give you a lower rating than he would have had you given him the discount, but I don't think people are avoiding you based on the one bad review.

The reviewer sees mostly low end girls in terms of price. He did give a good review to a 300 dollar girl in Texas. Texas has some of the lowest prices in the country so she was a high end girl by Texas standards. The other LA 500+ girl got a good review.

So therefore TER doesn't need to look into it further unless you have Blackmail proof.

I have to empathize with my sister here. TER can be a real landmine for providers. A couple of recent 8's in a sea of near perfect reviews is enough to curb even an outstanding provider's ranking and business significantly. It's vicious, and arbitrary. That is why some guys are bold enough to try and lowball providers with this type of threat. Unfortunately it works on some, which can encourage the bad behavior.
So yes, it might be a tad harsh, but I would not mind to see that guy flagged somewhere so that his bad reviewing skills don't come and infect anyone else's business needlessly. Maybe that will encourage him and others like him to be more conscious and responsible for what he's letting loose out there.

Your "sister" has been delisted. How do we know she was telling the truth? The girls always have some excuse as to why they got a bad review. Even the OP never said  there was any "threat."  

Duly noted sir. It is indeed hard to find out who's truthful and who's not in anonymized settings. I agree that we all  take responsibility for what happens to us. Maybe my sister should have screened better to avoid this drama. But it does not negate the fact that reviews can be pretty arbitrary, and a couple of bad reviews, fair or not, on TER can in fact affect a provider's business significantly enough that it would warrant some kind of balancing influence, especially when there is otherwise not much a provider can do in this situation besides trying to resolve it with the client. As you pointed out, she got booted for complaining. Did she deserve it? I don't know enough to answer that. I am not sure how booted provider = bad provider holds true, but that is how it works I suppose, and her business will likely suffer as a result. Keeping all of the above in mind, the only reason why Israel has not yet been wiped off the map, is because they have the backing of our ludicrously powerful weapons and global clout. In an environment that can get hostile to their business arbitrarily, right or wrong, it is appropriate that providers also have a resource to fight back and survive. Without that, we are sitting ducks. Not a good position to be in. I prefer mish, on top and doggie any day to that. So long as I get paid!

The same as a lot of spineless tricks will come on here and whine incessantly about all the evils some unknown and usually unnamed hooker has done tot them. None of those people get kicked off the board for it.

We don't know what she said privately to the admin. There was no way that was a vindictive review. She described herself as slender. The reviewer gave his highest grades to slender girls. One of her pictures looked photoshopped to me. She put 28 years old on the web page. Even with her face blurred she looked a lot older than that.

It's very possible she followed the TWATTER crowd and "took her ball and went home" after a few of us refused to buy into her bullshit. All she would have had to do was tell Admin that she was instituting a new "No Review" policy and poof, she would be gone.

Many, even most clients, are not TER members...   The answer to a slow spell is to advertize more & offer limited time specials.  Extra time for the same money is better for you... you are not booked anyway, so you HAVE the time.  You counter act this mediocre review by getting better reviews... knocking it off the first page.   You can request clients review you so long as you don't ask them to falsify the review.  
Sorrty that this happened to you but it will turn around.
