In the business there are many photographers, some well known and specialize in provider photos. I have met a couple of them personally and I won't mention any names.

Some photographers are too good. They can make a 7 into a 9 or even a 10. Now when I see certain photographers listed at the bottom of the photos, I know to deduct a couple or 3 points.
One ad I saw today makes the provider into an 8 when she is clearly a 5 or 6.

Gents. When you see some professional photos and book your session, have you opened the door to disappointment?
Is there too much airbrushing going on with some of the photographers?

Sure, there is some air brushing but for the most part I think they represent most gals accurately if you take some of the air brushing results with a grain of salt.

On the other hand, I'm seldom happy about the amateur photos which are poorly lit and posed.  They leave me wondering why the provider would want these to represent her.  I have seen a few good amateur photos, but the majority are sub par.

Airbrushing the stretchmarks and slimming of the body makes them inaccurate.
The masking of wrinkles and other flaws on facial photos can make a provider look 10 years younger. Maybe it does not matter to you because you are not picky on who you see. Some of us are.

I think a mix of professional and not so professional photos is best. Professional photos are great to make that first impression and get a guy like me interested, but if they are all I get to see I will deduct points on my must see list for fear of airbrushing. Now nonprofessional don't often have the same eye catching quality that professional photos do but I trust them more. I am much more likely to see a lady that provides nonprofessional photos for that reason. Both, in my opinion, is best, but if it was one or the other I prefer the nonprofessional photos.

I like the self portraits taken on a cell phone.  The sitting naked, or near naked, on the motel sink and snapping a shot into the mirror with a cell phone camera.  Or pictures taken in the motel room with the generic night stands, bedspread patterns and pictures on the wall.  Its so unpretentious and therefore erotic to me.

Those pictures taken in the mirror with their phones makes you wonder... Pictures and the quality of them is all we have to represent ourselves. It's true that photoshop can make an unattractive person into someone good looking but I think a provider who does that be outed really fast here on TER no?

I personally have been guilty of gaining weight (20 lbs) between photo shoots while spending an extended period of time at my mom's house who, like most mothers, overfed me!! As soon as I saw some comments in my reviews about my gaining weight I took time off and dieted, hit the gym and fixed the problem to come back to my thin self. So my point is that these non representative pictures that are way too photoshoped wouldn't fly for long in this community before it shows up in reviews no?

The photos made them look way better than they looked in person, and the disappointment in a couple of cases was so great that I couldn't get very excited during the session. I prefer decent amateur photos that give a better idea of what the lady actually looks like.

I agree with you, it's most always a disappointment when they open the door. I'll take the candid photos over a professional shot any day. They are who they are and you get what you get, but at least this way you pretty well know what you're getting.

Long time lurker starting to do some posting.

I like it when there are a combo of some professional and some candids. Ladies who look great in both go to the top of my list.

I hope I don't hijack the thread, but what I don't understand is some of the selection of photos. Sometimes I look at the photos ladies post and think "Did they really look at that expression or angle and think they look good?". It's especially strange when you find a couple of great photos and then one where the expression is truly awful. Some of the ladies really need to learn to edit their selections better.

Either the reviewers are afraid to say what they think, or they need LASIK. There was a provider with nothing but 9 and 10 scores on TER that was a gigantic disappointment for me, I'd rate her maybe a 5. She was bigger than her pictures would lead you to believe, and her face was a big disappointment. Only when I voiced my disappointment did I have guys contact me privately saying that they felt the same way but didn't want to say anything.

Another provider was everybody's favorite, and when I saw her she was extremely homely and quite a bit overweight. Another provider I saw had been asked to do a doubles session with her but she refused because she found her too unattractive and fat. Any mention of this in reviews? Nope!

I've noticed that many of the girls on City Source have very nice photos and don't seem to be "Photoshopped" to death. It's always back to the girls preference and I know for a fact that some don't want to have their photo retouched so you get what you see. No disappointments. With that said, I do like the self portraits mixed in so you get a better sense of a raw look.

Ladies unless you are going to the trouble of glamour shots every time we meet you, dont use them.  I would consider it false advertising.  I would not have a problem seeing a 5 6 7 if they have good performance reviews, but, if i'm ecpecting an 8 9 10 and thats not you every day that is a problem.  This is not to put the photogs out of buisness but we are expecting what we see or at least close.  Its like Mcdonalds the pictures always look better than what we get but it is a close representation.

Many AMP incalls in NYC use professional (or what look like pro) photos with a few pretty good candid shots thrown in. I have met quite a few of the models and the vast majority match their pictures quite well, down to the sequins on their lingerie.

There's always the blurred face and an occasional blurred out tattoo. Some of the girls suck in their gut for the snap, but I don't notice too much photoshopping away lots of flab.

In other cases, I always assume that there might be a disconnect between a pic and the model in person. Reviews sometimes help but not always. So far, the worst disappointment was photoshopping (smoothing) of cellulite on her legs. Leg pics were smooth, in person they were were "cheesy" but the performance was great nonetheless. None of the reviews of that indy model mention that.

Diet, diet, diet, exercising, no partying good sleep and a little trip to the plastic surgeon if needed. Hey, after all we work with our bodies so we have to prioritize!! It's not easy but if one wants to eat Doritos under the sun all day long, unless she advertise as a BBW... I know it takes all kinds to please hobbyist but to stay main stream you just have to fit the bill. Now, it's just my opinion and my experience that girls who are heavier need to stay in the lower rate spectrum. No need to write back about how many of you like love handles and no need to have angry rounder girls to insult me and tell me how happy they are being round; this is only my opinion. As an previous agency owner I had clients that would be very insulted if I would introduce them to a girl who forgot to diet a bit. Again, this is only my opinion.

I believe you man but I sure was outed darn fast about my gaining weight and now that I'm back in shape those darn reviews are staying no matter what. On this last photo shoot I really tried to show as much skin as possible to show the truth but seems like I can't win as word is out in back channelling that people are afraid I still have a couple rolls going on mean while I couldn't be any thinner or else I would look very sick.

I really don't get why these ladies have good looking reviews while they are not... TER mystery.

In the case of cellulite (bumpy looking fat deposits), there is almost nothing to be done. It's genetic. There are no creams, no treatments, no lipo or anything else that will change the way that particular body clumps the fat cells. EVERYBODY has fat layers on their legs (and elsewhere). Whether they are smooth or bumpy is beyond the control of diet and exercise.
