had the chance meeting with FF back in her heyday with Charlies Angels.  while gorgeous on tv, she would not warrant a second  look in civvie life.  she was shopping at the mall where I worked and stopped by my store to buy something.  hardly recognizable with out the make up and hair styled.

Most movie goers will tell you they hate all the fakery Hollywood offers, that they want more substantive stories about realppeople. Bullshit.  Do we really think that after a day of domestic dysfunction, sitting in traffic for two hours, suffering another humiliating kick in the crotch from your boss and looking at your own growing waist line and receding prospects that any of us really want to see that reflected on screen?  Fuck no. We want to see beautiful, exciting, sexy people saving humanity as time runs out or winning the handsome guy/beautiful girl or meeting some other romantic and heroic end, all in two hours or less.  The only reason we might watch a story about some fat ugly shmendrick is so we can say "wow, at least I'm not as fucked as that guy" and feel better about ourselves, and even the shmendrick probably gets the hot girl in the end. Hollywood may be selling the useless balm for our souls but we're gladly buying.
