Charley seemed to have turned south some, and Tampa-Sarasota seems to have been spared anything severe, at least away from the coast.  Glad to hear it.

I am scheudled to be in Tampa next weekend and I hear another hurricane is on the way from the Antilles.

Yes, we in Sarasota/Tampa missed the storm, but if it missed us , it hit someone else.
I don't wish that on anyone.

Please, all of you, keep those people in Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, and that area of Fla. in your prayers.
It was a devastating storm, with major damage and loss of life.
