... the case. I have met a few independent providers who have that 'No Black Men' rule. I never asked them why because it's none of my business.

I could speculate on the reasons why, but it's a waste of time.

I even saw on an independent WHITE provider's (she was a knockout, not some ugly fat one) website who stated 'No White Men, including Mexicans' on her website. Don't see that too often, but it's out there. Why? Don't know and really don't care.

Oh, I should mention that I have been turned down because of my handicap. (yes, I am handicapped... don't believe me? Just ask any of the ladies that I have reviewed) It didn't make me feel too good. I didn't waste my time with those ladies. I moved on and found other ladies who did not discriminate against me.

Re: A point of view unseen "here". I wish to couch this reply by saying I in no way speak for all or even a majority of ladies who set the "NBM" as a preference in their ads.

Having been around the block a few times and interacting with many people from many walks of life I can assure you that "some" of the ladies who have the "NBM" preference are managed by a gentlemen who demands that they post that. The fact is many who place that condition in ads are men of color who want no other man of color near their bevy of beauties. It is not always the young lady but upper management who dictates those conditions.

Don't get me wrong I have my preferences too, but this seems to be on the rise. Have we really gone this far backwards?

and you will see the question asked and answered plenty of times...

Now be prepared to be torn apart to pieces by other posters.  Don't tell me I didn't warn you.. :D

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton want to talk to you first...

Could you please pass me on your contact information and I will have one of them call you... :D

They may be getting paid for the date, but they still get to choose who they fuck...

There are a myriad of reasons for this...I will just go with physical attraction. For instance, I have a "no fat chicks" policy.

Unfortunately, this is still an illegal business, so there is no equal opportunity or discrimination protection. The good news is, there is still PLENTY of opportunity to find hot, freaky, and willing women who only see one color that matters...GREEN!

Look, I hope that someday, this is really behind us. I hope that someday this conversation never happens again. But, we are not there yet. As a country we are better, but not cured. So, instead of worrying about it, hit the ads again find someone that will see you...and then make her happy that she did...:-D

This is discrimination and has no place in post racial world. We have a black guy in White House for crying out loud, and hooker wouldn't see a black guy for couple of hours...

Show some courage, damn it.... :D

I stand by my no fat chicks policy...:-D

The world will be convinced on its own. Sure maybe you could reach some people with some good dialogue, but as for the rest of them it will take generations to totally and completely flush it out. Until that time there's plenty of fish in the sea.

Instead of worrying why some providers will not see african-american men why not concentrate on the many providers who do?This topic has been beaten to death the horse is dead he is not getting back up to ride.
This happens in cities all over the united states there are many reasons that have been listed in the past on why a provider might not see african-american men. This has been going on for years nothing new.
I never understood why guys post this question on the boards I have seen these type of posts from one coast to the next.

Who cares if someone puts no black guys or african-american in their ads?
That is their choice and debating it is not going to make those providers see african-american men.
I see african-american men no problem but I do not get too many requests from them so I guess I am not their cup of tea.

Thanks for the feedback all. Didn't mean to rehash this. I've been out of the hobby for awhile and didn't know this had been discussed so frequently. My intent was not to get a provider to change who they see, but merely to get perspective.

Send me your phone number dude. I will have him call you.. :D

At these why no NBA topics. Which are officially annoying now.

Who cares why they don't want you..... THEY DON'T WANT YOU move on.  Done.

You're not going to be everyone's top choice for all kinds of reasons.  Search NBA / NBA POLICY / NO BLACK MEN  the last like 180 days or something to see that this comes up like every 2-3 wks.  It's not funny anymore.  And you'll see most of the majillionbillion reasons why many do it.

I don't think society is going backwards just because more ladies are actually being more open about racial preferences (managed or completely independent).
Aren't the numbers of mixed race people on the rise? lol....someone's fucking.  I just wouldn't use the hobby as an in-depth reflection of current society is what i'm trying to get at.

Standing Ovation. Thank You for bringing reason to nonsense.

Racial discrimination is wrong.
The hobby, because it is so underground, often brings out the worst in people. I see it as society moving backwards, because the hobby allows people to act on racial prejudices that would get called out other places.

Discrimination against anyone is wrong.

I think "why" topics are only stupid because people like you (and others) will continue to allow discrimination and prejudice.

This is a business. If Safeway had a sign that said "no blacks" the world would be aflame. And it is stupid because you can't say "I'm just not attracted to black men"...UM, I would say most clients a provider isn't attracted to, but she still fucks them.

It's prejudice, it's racism, it's discrimination. But people here are ok with it, so they will continue. Fine. be racist. But at least admit it. I welcome everyone the freedom to be racist. Just like I welcome everyone the freedom to cheat. But that doesn't make it right.

Oh fucking please!  Don't compare what can't properly be compared.

....this is PAY FOR PLAY.  This is not marching on the mall or a civil rights issue.  It is what it is.  If you want to turn it into that be embarrassed at yourself.

I WILL not start crying and whining because someone will not see me because I am too dark, not the right look have to much love handle for them.

Whining about why so and so won't see me changes what?
NOTHING.

People will always have a reason (or several and many you won't agree with) why they won't see someone.

WE ALL discriminate for one reason or the other....so WHATEVER.   Providers do it and clients do it.
WE ALL DISCRIMINATE (I don't see assholes, I don't see anyone under 27 etc etc). WE ALL HAVE PREFERENCES.  WE ALL HAVE STANDARDS for how we do business (or hobby) to make us happy & keep happy.  WE ALL have a line we draw SOMEWHERE. Some draw it at race.

Confusing simply having your own standards or preferences ONLY with racism is stupid (there are many other reasons why some providers EVEN BLACK PROVIDERS won't/don't see black men).
Racism, discrimination and prejudice are not the same things.

PAY FOR PLAY and I repeat DO NOT confuse this with some Civil Rights shit because you are comparing apples and fuckin' oranges because the difference is we are independent contractors/private businesses if you will (most of us) and have the right to pick and choose how we see fit NO MATTER if others agree with it or not we have to pick & choose how it makes us happy.

I stand by what I said and I don't need for you to like it.
My skin is brown too and I believe in freedom to pick & choose.  Believing and defending the right to pick & choose and have that freedom as an independent contractor is what i'll continue to do even vehemently even if it's  a reason I don't agree with because it's their right as "independent business owner".  Nowhere in what I said did I go woohoo discrimination it's so awesome.

In a nutshell....you don't see everyone that tries to book with you do you? So save it.

Drawing the line at race is racist. People can control weight and age (they can grow up)...but not race.

It is racist. And if you're ok with racism in the hobby then fine for you. But I will all it like it is.

I don't have to save shit, since I don't discriminate. As long as you contact me in a reasonable manner, give me all the required screening and don't fuss, I usually only get contacted by those I am mentally compatible with. But I would never turn someone away for something they could change.

It is racism. Plain and simple. Nobody likes being a racist, I know, but....if it walks like a duck..

I'm okay with freedom of choice.....can't force people to see anyone they don't want to.  The fact that people can't change their race vs weight is irrelevant to that point.  Calling everyone a racist because you see they won't see fill-in-the-blank race is all too easy.

I feel the same I don't care what race a man is but how I feel should not have to be the same for everyone else and i'm not gonna whine or wag my finger at or guilt anyone for their choice. I don't have to agree with it but bottom line we all discriminate for one reason or another for our own personal/individual comfort ..... point blank/period.  You do discriminate FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER (anything that makes you go "i'm not going to see him") you don't see everyone that comes your way which IS the purpose of screening so to say you don't discriminate is lying.  Because screening is to help you specify who you should see or not see.

So yeah.....you can save it lol.....all of that.

You buy pussy and they sell it but it doesn't mean they have to sell it to you .

Some of this stuff gets so freakin old.

Write a letter to your congressman or better yet write one to Jessie.

Everyone should  have the right to make their OWN  choices who they  invite into their personal bubble.
Is it backwards there isn't a rule you must see providers you aren't attracted to , for whatever reason ?

After all is said and done , the providers you don't find as pretty   enough for you to pay , were born that way .

 Some providers don't see under 30 , some don't see over 50 . A guy can't choose his age .

A few times I have contacted a provider with my handle , a couple refs ,  and received a reply . When replying back with my appointment request she doesn't reply back .

I don't take it personal , I am who I am , I can't change myself to suit  her preferences . I figure she  feels she won't be a  comfortable  fit with my reviews ,or she doesn't like my attitude .  Or another possibility , a provider she knows described me , she didn't like my looks or style .  :-D
I don't  waste her time or anymore of mine with asking why .  I move on to the next one .

Most successful actors choose their movies .  If  their agent is doing their job, they won't won't bring  scripts the actor isn't attracted to .

When booking providers I choose who I wish . I  would rather know in advance who's  available for me .
I would prefer a provider ad that listed No Quad if that is her preference .
That's just me , I don't take things too personally .

Just give your money to the ladies that are not NBA.

it's literally a question of size for me. More often than not, aa men are much larger than average. Taking that kind of pounding, even for a half hour, would be excrutiating. I'm trying to take care of this money-maker, not destroy it by letting hung clients drill away. I already do kegels like crazy, I don't think I could manage anymore! ;-P

Some probably are prejudiced (and if I were you, I would not want to wast emy money or time with someone like that);

But I think many more do so out of concern for STDs - unfortunately the statistics show that rthe rate of prevelence for STDs is much higher among African-Americans, so many providers believe they reduce their risk of a career ending STD by avoidng them.  You'd be right if you think they'd do better at minimizing that risk if they stuck to older educated professionals - and for the same reason many providers prefer to see older married guys (assuming they are more likely to have played safe in the past).  If your verifiable thru a service and can show verification by other higher end providers, sometimes that can get around the issue.

On here (in this dead horse issue) if you search, talks about "the black man and the forbidden fruit white woman"..... Read it!!! May shed some light on the topic for you..... As for me, I just focus on providing a great experience for the ones who will and try and leave my name on the top of their "he was a good black man list!!!"...... Honestly, would you rather she give you crappy service because she really doesn't like you??. Been there done that even wrote one of the dead horse reviews..... (And if you're new to seeing the no AA post, hell I'm in southern Florida!!!!!) wanna change their view? Do your part as an upscale gent with the ones who doesn't see color!!!!

"Have we really gone this far backwards?"  Really?  You have your preferences, so do they. Women, and men, have the right to decide who they want to have sex with, even when there is money on the table. If you want to turn it into a civil rights issue go right ahead but it is and always will be simply a matter of personal preference.

A girl is entitled to see who she wants, and we are entitled to see who we want.

I agree that maybe it's not so PC to say that you will exclude a certain race, but aren't we do the same thing by not seeing certain unattractive or overweight girls?

What's the difference here?

You're the only one having problems we also have to work extra extra hard to get business to get hobbyist to see AA girls and you never see a post stating why.

personal preference like hobbyists that only see a particular race

Bull Motherfucking shit.  Discrimination is just as prevalant in the north if not more so than in the south.
I've lived in both parts of the country and the south being more discriminating is stereotyping.  The yankees just hide it better.

In the South. providers are tod to stay away from large endowed black men!

I have a friend like that.

Here is the reasoning (at least from her end):

We live in St Louis. Crime rate is high here. And most of it from AA. There are a set of two AA males running around here robbing providers with a gun.

Pimps commonly come thru looking for new recruits. She is young and desirable to them.

AA male are hung like a horse - and she is a spinner - it just does not fit. Why would anyone want to cause discomfort to another? Pleasure is so much sexier.

And to be honest she just isn't comfortable with the idea.

Be with someone that wants to be with you. Be honest. You might be surprised at the results.

Good luck!

This topic has been pulverized on this board but still some dumb ass has to bring it up again. People have a right to see whomever they want and refuse to see whomever they don’t want to.

EEOC doesn’t apply so you cannot file compliant with the Department of Labor.

There is no good answer to this question.  Every lady has an irrefutable right to see who she wants to and to not see who she doesn't want to. Accept it and move on or resign yourself to unhappiness.  Btw this is much less of an issue here in sunny SoCal if ur considering moving.
