The after Thanksgiving retail day on the Friday is quite an amazing American phenomenon. And Amex has been promoting the Saturday for small businesses.
I figure that buying items and services from small local businesses is important to keeping my local economy strong. I try to buy locally produced food and other items from small businesses as much as I can. I get fresher fruit and veges that way. I used a local roofer a few years ago, instead of the big city company, with great results.etc. And I try to buy other products from my local businesses.
And I won't be forgetting my favorite small business providers. How about you?
