I will not use a credit card for the hobby for several reasons.
I do not want to submit too much personal information for one. In addition, some agencies and independents will add the surcharge to the sale, which is normally about 15%. I believe the surcharge should not be absorbed by the hobbyist.
There is also the credit card interest that we have to pay, unless you settle up on each billing cycle.

Most of the ladies I see do not want reviews listed, and I honor that request. I use either cash or, as many are doing now, a "Green Dot" payment where you get a prepaid "reload" card which the companion takes and transfers the amount to her "Green Dot" credit card. There's no trail, you get the "reload Cards" without any I.D. at many retailers, and it costs $ 4.95 for up to $500.00 per reload card. I would never use a credit card ... too much fraud. One other thing to consider... it's possible that the card will be reported "stolen" in the morning, and the money will get sucked back out of your account.

Two reasons I would never use a credit card to hobby.

The first and primary reason is the paper trail that it leaves behind.  Even though I have separate cards from my wife and the bill goes to a business PO box I still don't need a paper trail connecting me to an escort or escort service.  Cash is king and untraceable.

The second reason is quite simply that I don't ever want to put me in a situation where I might spend money that I can't afford to spend.  I enjoy the hobby and the fact that I spend only what I can afford and when I can afford is a big part of that guilt-free enjoyment.

It's common for guys to pay by CC in Nevada brothels by the way. It shows up on the statement with some bogus business name.

I am single and retired so the paper trail probably wouldn't be as big an issue for me as with other guys but, I still don't want it.

My other reason is, If I can't afford it, I'm not going to have to pay for it later. Could become a big expensive situation.

It adds cost to the transaction.

I have little to hide - no SO, and am far less paranoid than the average guy. Yet, why create a paper trail, no matter how safe it seems? Why give out my CC info, no matter how much I trust you?

I suppose, if I forgot or was running late and had no time to get cash, I might use one. but I would rarely let myself fall into that situation.

I'm single, and as long as I have a lot of trust in the provider, the paper trail doesn't phase me.

I also hate having to carry cash around and make repeated trips to the ATM.

It would also be nice to get the miles.

I would much prefer to pay by CC ... so much easier all around.

I just checked my credit card online, and I can get back statements to 2006.  The longevity of these records is troublesome to me.

I don't want anything I post anywhere NEAR the P&R board.

I'd pull cash off the card since I pay it off every month anyway.  The $3 fee or whatever is a tiny price to pay for peace of mind.

What about via paypal? Or taking gift cards (that you can verify the amount on the card before starting a session), so us guys could write them off as business expenses?

Also, from a business standpoint, you are the business owner must pay the credit card processing fees....

Unless you decide to charge extra for cc payment, and if that's the case, most people will still use cash....
