But in the scenario you describe, a well known and reviewed long term provider retires, why would you assume that she NEEDS a SD? I would think she would be perfectly capable of supporting herself on her own like most adults in their 40s.

After 5 years of providing and making even 80k a year in the south, one is generally set to retire with no ties remaining for extra income... that is IF you have good financial sense, but many do not. I laugh every time I see someone admit they are in a rent control area or section 8, and are making 500 plus an hour as a hooker. Then, you see where their money goes... shoes lol. Um, gee hope those shoes help you out at 60.  

To include the provider having saved none of her money and being completely unable to support herself by any means other than providing. Guess at that point it makes more sense.

...But even so, we can generally assume that in this hypothetical scenario has another 40 years of life, substantial living expenses, and some assets but significant debts/liabilities (so modest positive net worth), and does not want to work too hard in a second career.

Every Girl that I've seen has never had a Great Retirement from this Business. These Girls don't save their Money. Most live from Session to Session. I know of two Girls I've seen that died of Drug Overdoses. Two moved out of state. I keep in contact with one of them. She is living with a Friend and looking for her own place. She's not living in Luxury after her years working in this Business. In her working days she could easily get $300 an hour. Right now she is living on $1000 a month through a family state agency program. The Girl I'm currently seeing is struggling just to makes ends meet. She's in her 30's. She's a Sweet Gal. I see her as much as i can. But her Future after she gets out of the Business doesn't look great.

Maybe she felt that she was at a point in life where she ought to quit while she was a bit ahead. You know, leave while it's still good so you remember the good times. Maybe she saw a house in the country where she could live, or found a job she liked in a provincial town, and just eased herself into a different life. That would be a happy possibility I think.

my ATF retired last year.  had seen her  on regular basis for many years.  she retired and moved away when she reached her financial goals. closed down her escorting by simply not seeing new customers then slowly reducing the clients that she would see.  finally got down to just a couple of guys that she would entertain once or twice a month.  I think I was her last as she closed out her career and faded away, leaving no trail

I did not cry about it, but laughed at the many suggestions on what might have caused me to do so. It was actually pretty damn simple, but those who knew the real ME, knew exactly what I was planning for years.

I used to not post for a week and a thread would pop up about what happened. I would think a provider totally disappearing is a bigger deal, so people are wondering is all. There is no conspiracy theory, just wonder and concern. There are serveral women who are 'known' to more than just a home town and one board... everyone has heard of them, so if they fall off the map speculation often occurs. Some are making it sound like ADJ is stalking the girl.. um, last I checked, he has an SO.

But I didn't say it outright and TS claimed I did.  Of course, she knows all.  Just ask her. rofl.
