You respond to an ad because the provider says that she is fluent in French, and after slipping her the envelope your ask about the French and she says:

"Ah oui, Je parle Francais tres bien, eh tu?"

Ditto for Greek, Italian and Russian.

I bet that would be HI-larious, wouldn't it?

That's like telling your civvie girlfriend you're a "cunning linguist" & all you give her is a tongue sandwich from your local deli----

I have traveled quite a bit and lived in other countries and -- although my languages are not spoken very often -- I do still speak some French, not much Spanish and a little Greek. I actually lived in Greece. However, when I first got into this business, I didn't realize what "Do you speak Greek?" meant. I was very ignorant at the time. So, I had it on my website, thinking I might also attract some foreign businessmen. Well, you can imagine what I attracted, so my website reads a little differently now.
