Ugly women have been escorts since the dawn of time. Many guys don't see escorts so they can live out a fantasy, they do it because they want a quick, cheap, orgasm from someone different than their wife.  

Yeah, I've noticed that some ladies charging in the $300 and even $400 make me scratch my head. But with savvy marketing I guess they have found an audience or they don't plan to work very often, so the occasional guy that calls is worth it to them. Some of them make it up with service and get enough good reviews to encourage others. Using price as an indicator of looks or quality in the hobby is not wise.

I think that beauty is in the eye of the beholder as the famous saying goes. I've often heard that in this industry there is a demand for every woman who has something to offer, that some man somewhere is going to want a woman and her "goodies" even if she is not for the the majority of men out there.

That said, I've seen classic examples of the most delicious man walking down the street with a "plain Jane" and also the other way around.
