...on Tryst, add the keyword "TER" to the filter along with the other criteria you want.

You will only get profiles that mention a TER ID. That way you can come here and read their reviews and make sure the hyperlink on their TER profiles links back to the same Tryst ad....

Providers who are on TER are usually proud of that fact will use their reviews as advertising and will post their ID in their Tryst profile.

It was a deposit scam on Tryst. Something about the post seemed off but I searched and found the pics on other sites so I thought it was legit. After I paid the $100 I realized It was a scam. Who the hell asked for a 35% / $122 deposit?

I finally connected with the actual provider on her OF and she said she's been trying to get the listing taken down for weeks.

The ad finally got removed.

Be careful out there. I should've trusted my gut.

Sorry that happened. Tryst is terrible in my opinion.

All ad sites are terrible. The ratio of scammers to legit providers is off the charts. That’s why I only tryst what I can cross check on TER.

It should be, like all ad sites, just a starting point for a client to find a suitable SWer and nothing more. Almost every legit provider advertises there so the site itself isn't the issue. Whether it's Eros, Tryst, etc., you (plural) need to do your research and it needs to be in depth.
.
It's not really different than any advertisement you come across in your daily life. Scammers are scum, to be sure, but the chances you will be scammed fall pretty to close to zero if you do your due diligence.
.
But I agree that this is sad this happened to the OP. I am sorry it happened to him as well.

I found myself wanting to disagree with you about nothing being inherently wrong with Tryst. But the truth is, the norm of what we come to expect with escort ad sites is a high percentage of scammers. If Amazon or eBay were as bad, we would shred them to bits and they wouldn’t be as successful as they are. But there isn’t such thing as an escort ad site that is by and large clean of scammers.

RespectfulRobert80 reads

I start with the assumption that any ad I see, almost irregardless of where I see it,  might be misleading or possibly even a scam. That mindset keeps me from taking things at face value. From there, I look into the provider behind it.
.
Sometimes that research confirms my worst suspicions, and of course there are times it proves me wrong, which this case, is a good thing lol.
.
Either way, starting off with a skeptical eye helps me make a more informed decision instead of just reacting to good marketing and hot photos.

Laspho89 reads

Definitely. It’s just the way it is .  Once bitten twice shy.

This industry cannot be compared to mainstream ones like Amazon/Ebay/etc because there is ZERO regulation/oversight/standardization/etc.  A piece of that frustration is that YOU, the consumer, sees confusing information and may get scammed.  But we, the providers, have zero control over who steals/scams/misrepresents our pics/services but are often penalized for the misinformation the thieving third parties portray. Aaarrrggghh.... 🤷🏻‍♀️.
.
It's an unfortunate reality but all any of us can do is pause... research... tap our networks... learn.... and proceed with optimistic caution.

Do you remember eBay when it first came out? There were scammers there too, but they implemented feedback systems so both customer and seller would have more confidence. Then when PayPal was purchased, they offered better protections but they also charged much higher fees. This was the evolution of eBay from a classified sales ad site into a true e-commerce site.

It's not really a similar comparison anyways because Amazon and eBay are e-commerce platforms, not services advertising. They now have built customer protections on transactions. Tryst doesn't have that, they only guarantee that the ad was created by someone who has an approved profile. To get a profile approved you just need to send a picture with id, which is probably not that difficult to fake. Craigslist is more apt comparison, or maybe thumbtack or fiverr (except both of these sites also have customer ratings, Tryst does not).

Hope you didn’t send out your personal info! NEVER do that!M!

...i'm just not sure why guys wouldn't start their search here with reviewed providers and then follow the trail to their ads/websites.  It just takes so much of the bullshit out of the way.

Laspho55 reads

I just read a review of a girl 1k per hr. Guy rated her 8 and 6. Said to try her lol. Makes you wonder about some guys.

There are plenty of guys in here with zero game and fat wallets.  Fat, fugly, socially awkward etc regardless of the "why" they are here and wiling to separate themselves from their cash for a variety of reasons.  I've stopped wondering why some guys make the decisions they do and then want to talk about in here years ago.  Sometimes one can only shake their head, laugh and when required....mock.

How did you send the deposit?

Many years ago, I realized I was evaluating escort ads with the wrong mindset. I was trying to prove the ad was legit. I'd look for at least one or two other things that tended to support a legit provider.  But after too many bad experiences with scammers, ROB's and providers who didn't perform as advertised (or reviewed), I had to flip my approach.

Now, for every ad that catches my interest, I assume it's a scam first and then try to prove it's NOT.  That means I need to find evidence the overwhelmingly corroborates the ad. It's all a bit sad and counter-intuitive, really. The need to spend 3, 4 or even 5+ hours researching just to book a 1-2 hour session, makes the whole process feel more like drudge work than living out a sexual fantasy.

I am very picky and do a ton a research as well. I have missed quite a bit as I wont give PII and pay for verifications.
But, I also have had some holy-cow appointments as well. This isn't a hobby or anything just an escape at times.

Thanks man.

I have been scammed and will never again.  I also seek out ad's that are as well and mess with them.  I have found a few dozen, reported them to the various hosting sites, but they will not remove them.  I assume they are making decent money off the many ad's these people are putting up because they tend to get a $30 or $50 deposit.  I Google. Lens the pic and see how many ad's they are using with the pic and see if I can find them in Instagram or other sites and let them know someone is using their pics.  Normally the ad's do not have great grammar and they normally put no more than 3-5 pics up.  Here is one I have reported many times:  https://www.tsescorts.com/virginia/fairfax/shemale-escorts/907-306-9409  She's has an instagram as well as OF site.

Never thought to plug "TER" into that filter. Good one!

That's one way for sure.  But not every woman who is on Tryst with TER reviews, advertises as such.  I typically Google their phone number and/or E-Mail address as part of my routine.

I just googled my 3wk old email addy and got a bunch of cah-raaazy hits🤣  So just gonna throw this out there to folks who might be new to doing research... ACTUALLY READ the links... ALL of them. My name/email shows up in the *weirdest* places! One interesting thing was that a bunch of hits were from this forum - but the actual link consistently went to a different person's post, not mine😵‍💫 This will be a fun rabbit trail the next time insomnia hits...

I agree, not every woman includes it in their ads. If you're not willing to do the extra leg work, this is a quicker way. But it limits how many you will see. Also, I have found that when you search using their phone number, you will find some who changed their names but use the same phone number.

thats good too

i didn’t think of that

do you use just the numbers on TER? or with the dashes and parentheses included?

I post my TER on my tryst ad. I do notice many put their rankings locally & USA. Some are not as highly reviewed when you look it's nice to use. I just did it & here's what pops up...

Its just asking for an issue.
Move on to the next one.

Fish. Sea. Plenty.

Yeah sadly a lot of onlyfans only models advertise as escorts on Tryst and a lot of times it's a deposit scam. When I use Tryst, I try to look at what else they have linked. Are their rates listed? Do they have phone numbers, email addresses, a website, other social media links besides OF? Do they have reviews anywhere? I just don't trust my eyes only when I'm booking someone. In this day and age, I need to see actual online presence in multiple places

I had a BAD OnlyFans Scam by Desiree Desire (the white Latina one)-
She wasn’t on Tryst, I approached her on OF.
I offered $8000 for a FMTY meetup.
She said Yes, we did a couple FaceTimes.
She wanted $3000 Deposit which I agreed to.
We emailed for 3 months, she was constantly stating some kind of money trouble.
Between the Deposit, the “Travel Expenses”, and the money was “borrowing” I gave her $6500.
She Ghosted me 2 weeks before the date and has not given back any money.
So even if you use OnlyFans- do Not support Desiree Desire!
She only wants to scam you!
A mutual friend told me she got cold feet bc she has never provided before.
I understand the cold feet, but return some money.

Before you judge too harshly, I live in the middle of nowhere Midwest and mostly have to do FMTY.
I email providers all the time and offer them 3 hour commitment for a tour and they won’t come.

You are the poster boy for why no one should EVER pay a deposit. And the fact that it took you $6500 to figure that out just means you are playing this game wrong no matter how far out in the sticks you are. There are lots of women here who will do FMTY and not rip you off. But why would you blow this much cash on someone who admittedly "has never provided before?" Just do your homework.
I hope you learned from this experience but you'll get no sympathy from me.

I get it.
Her menu did keeping expanding as we emailed-
Cum in pussy
Staying with me for 3 days, etc.
But it was All a lie.
I am an idiot I know.

But spreading the word out that Desiree Desires Onlyfans is not worth your time or money.

I don’t send them. I just move on.
