I see some have a link and others don't.  Now that the US reviews are gone, might be a good idea to link going forward on here if this is just going to turn into another posting board.  Never hurts for that subliminal ad that may get you through this "disruption".

since I've been UTR for awhile, and things are so risky, I'm going to take a more conservative approach to my photos and website look, that's for sure!

I noticed that a lot of websites that had "gfefiles" or "indyfiles" in the web address have gone down. Not sure who was the parent company of those sites though.

It's wordpress with a US host and web-designer.  She is fine hosting my site and is going to update it in the coming weeks. I don't think our private websites are in jeopardy but those made with pre-made themes and escort organization or group have gone down unless based out of the country.

Yea, that's what it was. Did escortdesign require a paid subscription to maintain a website?

most of the escort.com something were shutdown by them bc their servers were in Arizona.
We know this, they also will keep your name .com if you purchase your domain, witch to me is not a "purchase per se" but more like a rent bc they never released my .com years ago.

P411 didn't allow links from certain companies either, thats why I move to WIX.

I did some renovations my my WIX site.... A LOT of renovations and my site is up. You can check www.veronicaturbay.net and see for yourself. Because wix actually an Israeli company but they have several of their hosting in the US (network solutions). So well that's my vanilla site for now.

I did set up an offshore site, see  www.veronicaturbay.me this one is hosted in Switzerland and the domain .me registry is operated by doMEn.
I am in the process to purchase other domains and just attach them to my new site and just redirected from there.

I personally dont like the cookie cut websites that those escort sites offered. But well, that's my opinion.
My new site still on the works with few updates / changes that needs to done. (SEO) as well.

If you need any help contact me!

I don't think I paid the anything but one day every just "gone."  They had photo areas you could sell for subscription to others for photos but I never collected on the one I got.

I take screenshots of every site now so in ase it goes down I an still have the info I used.  I've notices most are recreating vanilla websites

I am in a similar position.

I am try to now be prepared. One site hosted off shore all parts and pieces purchased off shore. Once site I am building in USA that is more vanilla is done I will hopefully have back up.

My fear is that this is a step where one day an ISP will be block certain sites from off shore. Trying to say that even the site exist legally where it is, US browsers cant get to it.

I was fortunate that my current site did not get disappear like so many others. I see posts all over about providers who just wake up one morning and their website is gone. I will have two sites shortly and hoping that I do not wake one morning and find my internet person gone and unaccessible.

Personally my business has not been hurt as i can tell yet. But I am not a "elite" provider nor am I provider that has to have 10 clients a week. I am very low volume. But its easy see so many that have been hurt and I feel sorry for them and hope and wish that the dust settle prior to them have no business at all.

I think what you will find is that as time goes on, the "elite" providers will be those that now plan, prepare and look good. Being the sexiest is now not a given. Now it take a little effort and brain to connect with clients.

I also had an escortdesign site, and it was taken down a couple weeks ago along with everyone else's.

The free sites had domain names including escortfiles.com, gfefiles, companionfiles, indyfiles, callgirlfiles, and a few others I can't remember.

The premium ($199/year) sites, which is what I had, had custom domain names- mine was meetvanessaeverett.com

I made a wordpress site initially, and it's still up, but it was never meant to be a permanent solution.  Last week, I built a new site using escortbook.com.  They claim that they are hosted in Malta.  Because of the uncertainty, with  sites still closing shop every day, I chose to pay by the month for now.  It's $29.99 per month or $299 per year for a premium site from escortbook.  The templates are set up a lot like escortdesign, and so far, I've been impressed with how helpful and proactive they seem to be about making sure you get the most out of your site.

I've heard good things about Red Umbrella hosting and Cutie's Tools, and other provider-owned web design and hosting services, but for a reasonably priced site that you can have up and running in an hour or so, a template site is the obvious choice.

When you set up the custom domain, did you buy it through escortbook or did you buy it from like 1and1/godaddy then connect it to escortbook?

The site I have now (still a work in progress) is chilling in the Netherlands.

My original website was hosted by escortdesign as well with the escortfiles.com I never paid for the upgrade because of my fear of sites shutting down just as this one and several others, I hate losing out on money.. I was lucky enough to have been a beta tester for a offshore site and had my content on the beta site which I am officially using since escortdesign went poof in the night

I've always been a believer in offshore and anonymous, but this whole thing has been a learning curve, and I definitely did learn something...

Every us extension is inherently the property of the US.

So, I took the initiative to pick up an unrelated host and try a Columbian extension, the .co

It took like 5 minutes to do. Now I'm not sure what to do with my .com... Should I keep them the same, or revamp the US one into something more mainstream?

I cleaned up my site, password protected the sensitive pages, changed the name of it and the domain. Still using Wix until I find an offshore designer with comparable integrations.

That makes sense to password protect the sensitive pages, like rates, services, and the more revealing pictures. One highly-rated provider in my area password protected her entire site last week, which seems excessive. Her only method of marketing now seems to be on P411.

My escortdesigns website was shut down also like a lot of ladies. I have FINALLY built a new one. For sexier pics and videos, there will be a members section accessible to gentlemen I have met or screened. Check it out!

Ladies i urge caution when exposing any information personal or not to anyone who does not have a somewhat professional and reputable references. The list of ladies who regret dealing with non adult experienced business is long and credible.
