you're not shooting into their genital or anal area, which could potentially expose them to anything you might be carrying that they might not want to pick up.  If you're thinking of shooting anywhere near there - e.g., on their butt or legs, or lower pelvic area of the tummy -- you may want to let them know beforehand where you're going to leave your deposit so they don't freak when they see your loaded weapon pointed at a vulnerable place.  Or, as many might prefer, you make sure she can see where you're aiming.
