I saw this mentioned on a local board and thought it would be of interest here.   CCBillEu is no longer the payment processor for TER which has been switched to SegPayEu.

Payments are now in Euros which the credit card processor will convert and charge the membership fee to you in dollars (1Euro = 1.33 USD).  Money orders are currently suspended pending upgrade.

I just picked up a couple of the $50 gift cards that I found worked with CCBillEu for membership.

Now, I don't know if they will work with the new processor.  Secondly and more important, the previous $50 charge is now $50 Euro which converts to $66.80 USD - that's a problem with the gift cards in the 25/50/100 denominations.

I don't see myself renewing soon.

I assume this might mean people that had membership on a recurring charge are now going from the lower price to the new one?

I finally figured out the old sytem and now they change it? Euros?

Just tell me one thing: will it be EASIER to pay or HARDER to pay?

I'm not renewing. Don't see the point.

What the currency change means is that TER has effectively raised their subscription fees 33% for everyone who prefers to pay for a VIP membership and that is unlikely to change given that the Euro has been historically strong against the U.S. Dollar.

It's bad enough that the economy sucks, now TER says my currency is no good anymore.

I wish they would just make a lifetime membership like Date-Check.

Hell, I'd pay $500 just once and be done with it for life.  I had to go through a couple of gift cards last time to get one to go through with a fake name.  The Simon Gift card stopped working.
