If the cost is the same do you prefer say 2 hour sessions twice a month or once a month for say six hours involving more date like activities (shows, dinner, etc). Assume it is time spent with a regular/atf. Interested in hearing from both providers and hobbyists.

I prefer to kind of mix the two.  I'll go with seeing my current favorite for an hour to two  a couple of times a month and then maybe just to change the pace, I'll go with a longer engagement every now and then

I do my best work if I have at least 4-6 hours in the bedroom with someone.  This is assuming it is a favorite client of mine as you mentioned.  My favorite clients and I always have LOTS of erotic interests in common and can easily spend our entire time together behind closed doors, even for extended play...

I like variety and extended sessions, so monthly 6hr meetings would be way preferable to twice monthly 2hr meetings, even if I was making the same amount of money on them after factoring in for added transportation time, rental costs, etc. for the twice-monthly two hour meetings.  Of course I'm not saying that there aren't clients who I enjoy seeing more often than once a month, just generalizing.  I think time between meetings is healthy for the erotic dynamics.  Both people keep growing, exploring, trying new things, and always have new stories, perspectives, and sexual techniques to bring to the table.  Keeps things exciting and fluid.  I'm very into that.  

I like to mix it up. When you get it I get to explore and it only gets more intense with every meeting! Look at it as maintenance for the short stays and a blissful vacation for the long drawn out edging!

In the past I have really enjoyed longer engagements. While I still enjoy a more relaxed date where connection is built over a meal and sometimes a shared public activity (Broadway show, Concert, Museum viewing) I have come to understand that most of the gents who see me have limited time to enjoy my company. Thus, I have added 2 hour and 1 hour options (for certain friends) which gives us a chance to see on another and yet keeps them on their tight time schedule.

I've learned that I enjoy a variety of dates which keeps me happy and keeps me accessible to men of varied interests and schedule. Well said. I offer shorter dates when visiting other cities, but not at home because the prep work needed is far too much hassle to not account for in the overall picture. When I am already set up in a hotel set to stay there for 2 or 3 days, I actually enjoy 90 minute appointments. Even when I did offer an hour, they always went over so I just got rid of it altogether.

Generally I like long sessions, and I like to hobby every weekend, but resources are not unlimited.

I di prefer the longer dates I got a 2 hour today at 8 am and a 2 hour yesterday at 1 pm and it truly lifted a load of bricks of my back, it was like good money plus now i got oodles of time and energy left for socializing and having fun ..

I def prefer biggest bang for my buck where I am the one who makes out well. Some the guys make these offers for the over nights that is benificial for them money wise, not so much for me.

 
I d rather do one 2 , 2 hour dates in the course of 2 days, and then enjoy the free time for doing my own activites i wanna do. Than be stuck with the same guy for over 24 hours for that same fee. Great deal for thier wallet not good for me.

 

 
I never had an offer to be paid to eat dinner with some one nor be paid to get taken to a show. Never get those style appts , would i do it? of course i would rather be paid to sit and eat dinner and watch a show than be doin push ups on your dick, for an hour, I havent ever been able to get those kindsa johns or milk the johns in that way, like some the ladies do, good for them if they got guys payin them to eat. I d be pumped i guess i am not fancy enuff....hahaha!

Without actually eating dinner I did a few recently.  I don't need the extra time BCD and it was fun doing something different. It was fun hanging out with someone different, like a date, no pressure on my end because I was certain I was getting laid. Most ladies are cost prohibitive to even think about doing it with. Sorry, most ladies aren't worth 300-500 an hour to watch them eat or to talk to. The "dates" where interesting, not sure I'd rush to repeat the experience. If its the experience you want and can manage the time, a sugar type of relationship would probably be far more cost effective. I did it, received steep discounts and had a great time, but it still cost thousands..

I like the occasional long date, but I really love shorter dates.
