does anyone know why they went dark?

They didn’t.

I'm still getting updates for ATL. Last one was 6/11.

(1) discussion forum has been eliminated,
(2) current line-up reduced to five touring models

Pause in operations announcement  

I just checked, and I saw no "pause in operation" announcement in the news feed or anywhere else on their site. I also checked my email and did not receive any blasts from her. Where are you seeing this message and what is the exact wording?

Confirmed. It must have been a delayed effect to my location.

Site is offline . I don't see any info anywhere about a pause in operations, they just went dark.

They went dark for a reason. Can’t go into specifics but many of the models started leaving a few weeks ago.

They went dark for a reason. A lot of the models started leaving a few weeks ago. The website customer forum went down a few weeks ago and that was the start of them going dark.

They sent an email out a coupe of days ago stating that they are pausing operations to make some improvements and will be returning in the future.  Didn't give an indication of how long they will be offline.

In said e-mail, just said going on hiatus... no reason or length of time given. The last lady I saw complained about being treated like cattle.... told to take on more clients then they wanted (felt comfortable in seeing fewer). Never heard one complain, and I've used Carols' services probably 30 times or more over the last 4 years. I have seen quite a few go independent, though hadn't noticed an increase in this activity of late; but not really looking for any change.  

Maybe because I didn't use her service that much and/or because I was not a VIP member. My experience was the models IRL were a little older than they appeared to be in their photos. Raphaela was the best, but she never returned.
