I had one provider ask me to review her, I didn’t and did her a favor.

I don’t like rimming, giving or receiving.  While getting a BBBJ her mouth started to wonder.  I asked her not to rim me but she did it anyway.

GROSS

I asked her a HJ to finish me off.

This ? Question is for both providers & hobbists.

Providers:
Have you ever been mislead & deceived by a fellow TER member who had lots of reviews promise to write you a review to help with your career here, but didn’t, saw you once & ask for a discounted donation because the claimed seeing them would make you advance in the industry?

Hobbists:
Have you ever took advantage of a new provider by claiming to help them by writing a review, asking for a discount & never following through?

* I know for a fact it happens to lots of new providers & many of the guys are still on these boards looking for prey. It happened to me & never again. Ladies don’t lower your standards for liars.

She was offering a review special (no requirement for "good review").
She had a few reviews already, all describing her as gorgeous/beautiful.

She was below average looking.
She had a frumpy figure.
Her place was a dump.

It is against TER policy and any common sense policy.

I never write reviews to help (or hurt, for that matter) a seller or their business. I simply write my evaluation of good/service as per my experience. Whether the review will help biz or hurt biz is irrelevant and should be irrelevant if your goal is to remain as objective as possible. If my truthful but negative review means the seller will be forced into poverty, well boo hoo I guess. I'll still write it even given the knowledge.

A review is not a business boost. It isn't a stimulus pack and it isn't a bargaining chip. It shouldn't be sold, given as a pity to boost sales, exchanged as a token or used as a threat or a bribe.

A review ideally is a fully honest and truthful recap of experience mixed with evaluation of the consumed good/service. Fellow consumers use it to gain second hand information, and sellers use it for feedback. Nothing more, nothing less.

discuss writing of the reviews or not writing of the reviews ahead of an appointments..

In the past, a few ladies have asked me to write reviews  AFTER the appointment, and I obliged. I was going to write a review anyway..

There used be be a high profile hobbyist back in the day in DC area, who would negotiate discounted rates in return to provide his reviewing services.. Very sleazy practice if you ask me.. He was one of the first guys on TER to reach 300 review mark..

Oh I remember.. Everyone thought he was GOD..  I went to one M&G and we were sitting, chatting, laughing, drinking beer and suddenly everyone got real quiet... I wonder what happened.. The person sitting next to me whispered in my ear that  Jeopcon / BeefEater just walked in..  I was like WOWWW.. This is as close to meeting a celebrity as I will ever get.. LOL..

I have the opposite struggle.  I am trying to boost a new provider on Twitter and here and she is not getting the followers or engagement on Twitter she needs to grow her brand and business. I am also trying to help her produce better content. Of course, if not enough people see it, doesn't matter.

What am I doing wrong?

is asking here “What am I doing wrong?” without giving any details on what you’re doing.

However, consider that a lot of people don’t use Twitter to find providers (I don’t, for example), or use it at all.  And TER has little to no visibility in many markets.

The best way for a provider to boost her presence on Twitter is to RT for RT with other providers.

And as far as TER goes, we have no idea who you are talking about. How about linking a review.

I don't ask for discounts. It's disrespectful.  Just like I would never tolerate a provider asking to reduce our session time.  It's disrespectful

Separate from that I never promise to write a review.  Nor do I try to leverage my status on TER beyond being vetted/screened by a provider when booking.

Is to never haggle over money.
Most providers have ads or posted prices or will state it up front; pay it or buzz off.

The only exceptions to this rule are Nevada Brothels and TJ "Men's Clubs", which will open with a "rack rate", that nobody but greenhorns pay.  Even then, gently suggest that it's beyond your budget..

The other rule was don't write a review unless encouraged to do so.
If you do provide a review, be honest and balanced.

I would never use reviews for leverage over a provider. I ask permission at the end of the session if it is okay to review her and generally offer do it if it will be a nice review. I think I have only written one negative review, and that was with a long-retired provider about nine years ago. Both she and her clients were being misled by the woman who managed her and I tried to make it clear that it was the manager's fault and that the provider was just not cut out for this kind of work. She didn't even know what TER was and was surprised when I showed her her reviews. Even though my review was a negative one she thanked me for it and letting her know about TER. She quit not too long afterwards.

Even in this weird little corner of the world a guy has to have some ethics.  Just do the right thing.

I had a male I saw for years at a rate of $500 an hour & when I went to get the money he left in a book it was only $300. When I contacted him to express my displeasure he told me the going rate is standard at $300 hr. He even had another provider call to tell me I charge to much. When I asked him to make it right because we never agreed to that prior to playtime he threatened me with his lawyer. I never expected that after, so many years of being a consistent regular.

I think you may have misunderstood my initial post because I have never offered a discounted rate for a TER review. I know several females who have because I used to throw provider only meet & greets in my city. I was interested in how some people get consistent 10/10’s & when I met them in person I was, like wtf. How in the hell…things that make you go hmhmhm

Am guessing you experienced this and am truly sorry.  Only an asshole would pull something like this.  No matter the form, dishonesty does nothing but ruin this hobby for both provider and hobbyist.
