I work full time and provide on a limited basis.

One time I worked for an agency with full face exposure and was not comfortable with that...No other choice...Now face blurred.

However, I have received comments and just ignore.  I keep this life separate from my real life.

Of course, if confronted fully I will deny.

At my work everyone wants to know everyone's business and personal life.

They cannot terminate me for this, correct?

I have no problem with a lady keeping her face "fuzzed" or covered by hair.  only objection that I have is someone "hiding" their full appearance... ie, if a lady is a BBW - showing only her face - or if a lady is sleek (ie, little cleavage)  In either case -- hiding the "body type" will lead to some dissatisfaction with some clients... as such I must confess, I like to know "body type" prior to setting an appointment, but a full face shot, not necessary and even if you never cared, I would think for a lot of reasons, it might not be best for you.

I have worked all over this country (and in other countries) in a very wide variety of "types of establishments" - nowhere, I repeat, NOWHERE have I found a shop where noone cares about what ya do.  people love to get the lowdown on who does what, with whom and why...  Just is human nature.

If you think otherwise because you perceive that your shop is different, then it may be because you are not in the blessed "inner circle" and are the subject of said gossip.....  Seriously, this is universal.

I was always a malcontent in my years in the corporate world, and was always unhappy with the work environment until I found myself self-employed -- no boss, no co-workers, no one to answer to except my clients and myself -- happiness at last.

Which means that you can leave (quit) any time you want, for any reason you want - but this also means that your employer can fire you any time for any reason (does not really have to give a reason).  

But, I would just continue to deny - no reason to help them.

They can terminate you for this and for any reason for that matter...your question shows that it really bothers you so my suggestion is: you can always talk about your "boyfriends" if you have to.....just make sure that your screening can detect co-workers as potential customers!

BTW, you're the kind of lady that would appeal to many as a genuine GFE

Almost all companies have morals clauses as part of the employment contract that you sign when hiring on. If you do something which can reflect badly on the company and are caught doing it, you most likely will be fired. Work to avoid getting caught up in situations that will get your name and face splashed in your local newspaper.
Masking your face is a wise choice if you want to avoid having someone recognize you. If you have any distinguishing marks on your body that others see publicly you may consider masking those.
By masking your face, you are in a category with many ladies that mask for the intent of deception. You will need to overcome that downside by providing exceptional service, if you give good service, the masking will not be an issue and you should make most of you earnings from repeat clients.
Poll some of the ladies that are on this site and have them email or PM you on how they screen new clents. If you do not want your second job to become public knowledge avoid ending up in a room with a cop that is not a bonafide customer.
Another thing that trip ladies up, in particular desirable one that earn big money from this pursuit, is becoming lavish in their tastes. If you job only gives you the means to purchase a VW, don't show up at work or home driving an expensive Lexus, you're better off saving and investing the money so that if something did happens, you will have cash to see you through the difficult period.
Lastly. Work for yourself and set a future date that you will quit the business. The sadest women that I meet in this business are providers that work to support boyfriends and never seem to realize that their best years are behind them when their desirability wane.

sex industry jobs are the ladies who provide, strip, do phone or cam sex for $$ and then use the $$ to support losers.  There is not a ring low enough in hell to provide for those guys... I am not talking about the occasional period between jobs.... I am talking about the leeches whose only means of support are the ladys that bring home the bacon, while they drink, gamble or worse, wine and dine other ladies on his lady's back.  

I have seen so many in that situation....  some I have cared deeply for, only to realize that they were not thinking rationally about the relationship.  

You sir, have identified a true downside to this hobby.... the support of such parasites.  And to top it off, the ladies used in this manner are usually the sweetest most caring people I know....   After seeing such, and sometimes being aware of the physical brutality and abuse that is inflicted on them, I go home to cry.  It does sadden me.

Well as they say "We all have a twin out there"!!  Pictures get stolen all the time.  That is not proof enough...I think they have to have me in the act, correct?

No problems with work performance and no issues with management due to minding my own business.

you cannot be forced by your employer to join a union as condition to continue working. Virginia is a right to work state. Illinois is not. Right to work has nothing to do with whether you can quit or be fired, although if you are a union member  the conditions under which you can be fired or laid off will be spelled out in the union contract.

There may be a written policy that spells out conditions that would lead to firing ("termination" in Dilbert-speak). However the 1st commenter is right -- you can be fired at any time for any reason. Unless you are a union member you will have the burden of fighting it, and if it ends up in court there is a good chance your provider business will be exposed.

That said, as long as you don't give them some reason to want to fire you and you take the precautions you describe to keep the two separate you should be OK.

You are terminated for cause (which you dispute).  What will it cost you to defend your position - in a court.  

Having a position - and being in a position to be able to mount a credible legal defense may be two very different scenarios.  In short, Cash is king.

That's not to say that you can't take them to court and otherwise make it a test case for sex workers' rights, and the right to privacy in general.  However, certainly that's not desireable, I take it.
