This is my 11th year of TER membership, most of it as a paying VIP.

Within a few months of joining I was no longer moderated.  A few years ago the
policy changed, as I recall, and everyone apparently was moderated.  I believe that
last a short time before management realized the folly of such a policy.

Within the past few months some of my posts go up immediately; for a few the popup says something like my post will be reviewed shortly.

What are the rest of you experiencing....
especially you long-term members.

This post went up immediately; perhaps not having a link is a difference.

There is no place for us to go and see if we, or someone else, is moderated or not..

That being said, random posts are chosen and are put in the moderation queue regardless of your status as unmoderated/moderated member. Unfortunately, TER has never been clear on what triggers this ! Is this a random number generator type algorithm, link, or some trigger words.. Only TER knows, and perhaps they want to keep it that way...

I've used words like "cunt", "bitch", "whore" and the post went up right away, and very benign posts sometimes go in the queue... I am unmoderated member...

My post immediately above this one went up immediately, even though it linked to a TER profile.  I am still waiting to see if the post that prompted this question gets approved.

And usually perfectstorm replies to these posts...but he's MIA on this one  LOL

All posters have random posts moderated.  Feel free to send TER Admin a request and I'm sure they'll be happy to confirm this.

So you may have 30 in a row go up as usual...and then one goes to moderation.  Why TER is doing this was in conjunction with the firing of the unpaid mods  LOL   You can tell this system is working to excellence now  

I've had sequential posts on different threads get held up.

Yes random moderation has been going on for about two years. TER told me their "system" Automatically holds some posts.  
It has nothing to do with regular moderation of new members or members who "broke the rules" and got moderated.

Random moderation used to be easily fixable by editing your post since the edited post went up right away, but I found out that doesn't work anymore. I found now that ifmy post is randomly moderation, and I tryto edit it, the edited post is still on hold.
