So...when I signed off earlier this week, it seemed like the posts were trending heavily into the argumentative and negative zones.  I made up my mind I'd try to get a positive thread going tonight when I got home.  Then..I see things turn around a bit today with some nice light-hearted or downright informational posts.  Good Stuff!

Just as I'm about to sign off tonight, I'm thinking to save my positive vibes for another night..then I see a previous post announcing some recent nuptials and think...maybe I'll be needed after all  HA HA

So, here it is...open to anyone to answer (like I could stop you anyway)...

What is the most unusually awesome/nice/positive/cool/great wonderful thing that has happened to you during your time in this business?

I'm relatively new...but, I still have a nice story to share. It's rather pedestrian but still very sweet.

I saw a lady in Toronto last year and had a great time with her.  I was only in town for a few days and I saw her the day before I was supposed to leave.  She had the next day off and had plans with some friends so there was no way for me to see her again before I left.  Then she surprised me when she said she would be happy to come in and see me before I headed out of town and before she met up with her friends.

I had an even better time with her the next day.  I still think about her often and can't wait to go visit her again.

I and several others posted there about our great experiences.  Beyond what I wrote there, I've made some very good friends, men and women, in this game.  It can be meaningful on many levels.

Actually, no that's not true damnit. He has a BBW for a wife and LOVES her to death, so I don't measure up in the least. Rock on BJ!!! I've met many great friends here, and some whom I think will always be in my life. Hell, I may even have 1000 at my next wedding, but that would be some funny shit hearing all of them saying, "White Dress..wtf is up with the white dress? She blew me, my dad, and the debate team ( Andrew Dice Clay)."

who was visiting my area and offering a deeply discounted two hour rate. After exchanging p411 PMs, emails and a phone call, we were set for a 5 pm 2 hour date. I was supposed to call her when I arrived at her building for a room number. I called at 5. No answer, left a voice mail. I texted at 5:05. No reply. I emailed her at 5:10. No reply. I know many folks would have left after ten minutes, but I decided I was going to give her an hour, since this seemed unlike her according to all the revews. I figured she must have had a good excuse, and I had nothing else to do that evening. I left another voice mail and text at 5:20, then just waited. At 5:45 pm she called me profusely apologizing and assuming I left already. She said she had hardly any sleep the previous night and was cleaning her room and changing sheets getting ready for our date, and laid back on her bed to rest and fell asleep. Slept right through my texts and calls and just woke up. She said if I still wanted to see her to come on up, but if I didnt she understood.

I ended up having an awesome session that went well over the two hours originally scheduled, and when getting ready to leave, I reached into my wallet to grab some money for a tip, and she was reaching into the envelope pulling out money to return to me. She gave me part of my donation back because she felt so bad for falling asleep and almost missing me. I was trying to give her a tip for already going above and beyond in giving me a great session and extra time. I tried to refuse her refund but she insisted. Mind you the date was already deeply discounted from her regular rate, and then I ended up getting about ten percent back on top of that!

LOL I could have actually looked at the board to come up with more names but those were just on the top of my head as I typed anyway the ".........." was supposed to cover the rest

I am happy when I can brighten another person's day.  For me, the nice times have been when I can help someone out.  Sometimes that means advancing money.  Other times it means just being able to do a favor for someone who needs it.

Just small things like that are what I enjoy and cherish.

but just in terms of being unusual, here's one that sticks out.

I had gotten to know a K gal I met at an AMP very well, and she started to invite me to see her at her apartment.

One day she asked if I would like a little meal afterwards, and I said sure.  I figured on a bowl of rice and some soup, maybe.

Instead she prepared a 15 course meal of Korean barbecue with all the trimmings, and I ate like a king.  It was more delicious than anything I've had at any Korean restaurant too.

Now the kicker:  After the session and meal I had to get up to attend a birthday party for my brother.  I was a bit stuffed that day.

This is a great idea for a post.

I bet it would make me look really sexy.

In fact, I have a photo taken at a old timey photograph store of me in just such garb, preaching the Bible to a scandalously clad Bev Fisher who is chugging a bottle of Jack Daniels.

Dipping into mine and feeding her the first bite was a wonderful, intimate way to get things started and break the ice...

during a session found out I had never been to titty bar.She took me to one after session.When we got there it was closed,she was upset more than me.Next time I saw her we went later it was open. She wanted to get me a lap dance I was so nervous  I did'nt want to. Told me next time she would get my cherry. The next time I saw her I got a  special deal on 4 hour session.Now she is only one I see.

After dinner we went to catch cabs home.
It began to rain really hard. We catch one, and I want her to take it.
She refuses. No matter what I did.
So I get in this cab, with this beautiful, wet woman looking in at me.
I became mesmerized. I opened the window to steal a kiss, and say Thank You.
The rain was relentless as I kiss her. I can still remember how the street lights made the puddles glow yellow.

In one of those puddles, was a wet, dirty, plastic flower type thing.
She picks it up out of certain destruction, and gives it to me.
Yes. A plastic cheap dirty party favor flower has become dear to me.
It reminds me of a week of my life that changed me for ever.
Pretty sappy huh?
What can I say. I fell for her a little bit.

became very friendly.  
We met in June, and I had such a great time I had to see again before she left town.
We would text from time to time, and after our next double appt. visit, she would text me about the toy I bought her.  that was hot!!! and fun to communicate in the middle of the day from time to time.

I am amazed at how easily the young (27-33) providers make me comfortable.  I was afraid of those women in the beginning, but now I look forward to sessions with them.  Absolutely my most pleasant surprise in the hobby.

The excitement of meeting someone new, and the anticipation of whether there will be some chemistry between us is one of the two things that keep me doing this.
The other thing that keeps me going are the women I know and like, and the fun we have when we reconnect.

Well I guess I need to be more memorable to be on people's minds (j/k)

OMG, I am so copying this shit and pasting it on my blog lol. Rasha, would be a bridesmaid for sure, you fool! My first wedding I had 10 bridesmaids, 10 groomsmen, 2 flower girls, and a 25 lb. cat serving lol.

Rasha is definitely supposed to be one of the bridesmaids, but she hasn't been around much lately (kind of like missing a fitting) She needs to get her ass back on this board!

Plus the list is only preliminary, subject to refinement!
