Gmail is probabaly the best email service out of
the big four free email service providers.  It
has too many advantages over the others to list
here.

But they just added chat to it.  Nothing to
install its an integrated feature and totally
web based.

Love the chat feature also, and backing Google 100% on their efforts to fight the baloney related to the privacy issues and their records.  (Had to get that in)GRIN

I was interested in gmail years ago when it first came out.  I asked goog;e a few times to get it, but they stated that it wasn't being offered yet.  I knew that others were using it and that I needed to be invited by another gmail user to get an account.  I always though it was juvenile that they made me wait for this gmail service.  They gave me an email offering gmail a year or so after that inviting me to try a gmail account.  I declined the offer and haven't bothered with gmail or google ever since.  I use yahoo and hotmail instead, I don't think I even want to try googles gmail now.  I think they have teenagers in mind when they pull these types of gimmicks.

or that you think it is for. The way that emails come back in conversational format ROCKS ! Now the Chat feature is something I will NEVER use as 30 days of chat held in their data base, I do not like.
Maybe you should just accept the next invite that you get just to try it :)
